What was on the screen in front of Lex?

It looked to me like Lex was being fed video from the barn. Of course it's hard to know if Lex is wired up to have his brain direct all of the evil that is going on or not but that's what it seems like to me. I replayed that scene three times and it looks to me to be the scene in the barn while DD was doing his evil. It would seem to me that while in a coma Lex is still warring against CK. Very interesting.

No, I was just like you the first time but I have it on DVR and reran it three times. It's hard to see but I see one guy falling down quickly and assume it's Lex tuning in to what his big baby is doing at the Kent barn.

The question is: is he in control or is he being controlled? Perhaps he's in a coma but responding to electronic stimulus to the brain and he's able to communicate through brainwaves while the ice has messed up his body and his ability to speak or move.

Regan certainly isn't working with Tess so it's my guess that he and Lana are working together to overthrow Tess. What Lex is trying to do is not clear at all to me. I believe it's Regan, the security director that Tess overthrew and threatened. I think Lana may be working with him. I think Regan found him in the arctic and transferred him while Tess is threatening him that if he doesn't find Lex she'll fire him and I think she actually threatened to kill him. All we know is the newspaper headline that said he is missing.

What if Lana's working for Lex, because lana is a defected clone. That would explain why Lana would be so OOC and work for Lex after all he'd done to her. Its not really Lana, it's her clone, like Adrian from Gemini was an early attempt at a clone of Julian. Just like Adrian, the Lana Clone is now falling apart, so in order to "save her" Lex blackmails her into helping him scheme against Clark and the Green Arrow, by infiltrating them. He's hoping to get back into the FOS and fix whats wrong with him with the technology the fortress has.

I noticed the neck too! It was either a bad angle for the actor (I don't think that was MR) or that wasn't supposed to be Lex.

I mean, Lana said to Oliver that in that place in Cuba there were 430000 megagig and don't know how many ethernet cables. That's about 430000x1024 terabytes. Why should Lex need all these? It makes more sense if that naked, blad guy being Brainiac.

Nah that was Lex. This is a case where I'd say you just go with the obvious. His neck looked skinny because it wasn't MR, that's all. I can see why you might think it was Brainy 5 from the future because of "Legion" coming up next, but I think we were supposed to realize it was Lex, after all the talk about him being alive in the first half of the episode.

ITS NOT LEX. they want you to think its lex just like with the e-mail signed by "X". its definitely Braniac. just because Clark destroyed him last season that doesn't mean anything. Have you consider the fact that what we saw at the end definitely is Braniac and what he was attached to is something to keep him alive and restore him. After all Braniac did infect the fortress to be Doomsday's and i guess you could say Braniac is Doomsday's master. Braniac was watching the destruction of his greatest subject. I don't understand why a future Braniac would be watching Doomsday from years before but thats plausible as well.

Clearly this was another actor or possibly MR's stand-in. Meaning his physical appearance would not be identical to MR's.

Yeah, it's definitely Lex...the tubes are something that's keeping him alive since he was basically crushed by the Fortress. The show ended on a cliff-hanger and I don't think Brainiac 5 would have been much of a good one since BrainIAC has invaded the Fortress and possesses Chloe's body fully now.

I've learned one thing...never over analyze the show because little hints and clues are always pointing to the cliff hanger.

I don't think so. She was in Cuba looking for the signal just like GA. She's up to no good for sure but I don't think she's in cahoots with Lex. My guess would be that she's working with Tess.

I don't think Lex is in control of anyone or anything. Lex is under the control of others and I think it's Regan the security director. Whoever it is found him in the arctic and transported him elsewhere and has access to sophisticated equipment to tap into Lex's comatose body and activate parts of his brain. I believe they want to take control of Luthorcorp back from Tess and who better fits that mold than Regan who was insulted by Tess and had his life threatened by her. He almost immediately disappeared. If it is Tess then that makes no sense because she had the crystal taken from her and Regan would still have ties to the mansion and could have someone facilitate that from his old security staff.
