View Full Version : Lana, Chloe, Lex, Oliver all evil

We know that Lana is working against CK and is getting messages from whoever is controlling Lex and now Oliver has his bad guy buddy overhearing a private conversation on the plane which means this guy probably knows CK's secret from Oliver and now Chloe is back with Brainiac. If I'm Clark I run off with Lois and tell everyone else to get lost. With friends like this who needs enemies?

Well to be fair we don't know if that piolit even knows the secret, and Chloe isn't in control right now. I have my suspcions about Lana.

You're a bit quick to judge everyone. We have no proof Lana is working AGAINST Clark. It might seem that way, but I doubt it. The guy on Oliver's jet only mentioned he heard them talking, you can hear someone talking and not hear what they're saying. And that doesn't make him evil. Same with Chloe, she's not evil because she's being controlled by Brainiac. There's a huge difference.

ya what is up with that guy in oliver's plane??

A bit of theorizing here, I think that that guy in the plane was just a plot device used to show us that Oliver could get to that warehouse without Clark, and that Lana is getting the texts from Tess.
I think Oliver and Tess (and consequently, Lana) are both trying to track down Lex, for different resasons obviously, and that search led them to the same location.

I agree about the plot device...that guy honestly just made me laugh!
He just happens to be an acquaintance of ollie's we've never heard of...and he's like "By the way...why you all were chatting I used some super chip thing and got all the data....so...we're good man, lets get this thing in the sky!" :rotfl:
The writers just needed a way for Ollie to go without Clark and prove to the audience that obviously Ollie's intentions arent all that honorable or in clarks best interest.

Agreed. She is no longer the cheerleader that's for sure. She had an evil, hard look to her. I'm going to go back and see if I can catch what that text message said.

You're absolutely correct. We need to understand as viewers that not a single guest star, line, or shot is done without purpose, they all serve to establish something.

Lol even Shelby has gone over to the dark side....
No, really there's no way to prove anything right now. I could make up a well supported theory, but then the PS3 could blow my mind in January.

I'm sorry but Oliver proved himself to be untrustworthy. The pilot had to know what was going on or why would he steal the hard drive data? Lana seems like she's gone off of the deep end. I know she got rid of the Kryptonite for him but this is the girl who was always upset at CK keeping secrets and now she's the most secretive of all

I doubt they would go so far as to make a DC good guy staple a bad guy. It never works well.

Good point but I don't think that Clark can trust him. Perhaps this is part of what drives him to tell Lois. He becomes unsure of who he can trust.
Only because Oliver is doing he's own thing does not mean he is evil. I mean give the guy a break, he found out that his parents were killed by Lionel...he want's vengeance, he's blinded by that which is realistic. And Lana evil? hmm maybe she's hiding something, I don't know what the F is going on with her but I am sure she is not "evil." You just want an excuse so Clark and Lois can run away together :rotfl: Now that is funny...Clark Kent aka Superman running away with his wannabe girlfriend because his friends weren't playing nice ;)

I agree...they are just blowing my mind left and right this season (in good ways) so I wont even speculate whats going to happen because I know there's always a twist.

No worse than hiding out in the barn for two seasons with Lana. Man am I glad that nonsense is over. Why couldn't DD have taken Lana and put her in the dumpster???

Realistic to feel that, yes. Still, if a man chooses to murder you because of something that your father did, what would you consider that to be? An example of him being good?
One might perhaps even attempt to justify things based on Oliver's argument of the danger that Lex poses, but it was clear that his motive was at least primarily revenge. If Oliver is not evil per se, he is at least choosing an evil course of action. We have seen from Lex that such choices step by step lead to a character becoming wholly given over to evil. Let's hope that Oliver starts making different choices, and quickly. I certainly wouldn't trust him as he is now.

That may be the point; all other relationships have moved on or are shaky so he is doubly attracted to Lois.
Unfortunately poor Lois is completely out of the loop so she doesn't really count. Apart from Lex none of them are evil, they're just flawed, except for Chloe whose infected. Besides we don't even know what Lana is up to yet.

I'm hoping she's up to leaving the show forever. Long live Clois.

I think evil is a rather strong word to apply to everyone. I agree that Lex is, but Lana, Chloe, and GA?
Lana's agenda is still up for grabs at the moment, but I don't think she would ever work for Lex after what he did to her. I can see Lana being mad at Clark because she wasn't happy with him and blames him for the inadequantcy. Everything Lana did in the past, she did out of desparation, like kidnapping Lionel and faking her death. I'm not sure if that mades one evil. Lana's duplicity at the moment makes her interesting for the first time. I'm eager to see where she's going and what her agenda really is.
Chloe was infected by Brainiac, so not her fault, though a court of law might disagree. I mean you can't tell the judge, I'm been infected by an alien supercomputer. You're lawyer would probably go for the insanity defense.
GA is not evil. I think he was wrong to try to kill Lex, but with the 33.1 experiments and everything, GA thinks the world would be a better place without Lex. My biggest problem was he didn't even see a face, so how did he know if it was Lex. He could have murdered an innocent person - unless he thinks that anyone connected to Lex is not innocent.
As for the guy on Oliver's plane, it think it was originally suppose to be Cyborg/Victor Stone. Maybe Lee Thompson Young wasn't available, so they used the pilot as a plot device.

It was weak as technologically it can't be done and it was clear that the pilot overheard the private conversation and that makes Oliver up to no good from my perspective. He was willing to betray CK. He also scoffed at the crystal when Chloe talked to him about it on the plane saying he doesn't get into all of the Clark stuff. It seems to me that there has been a falling out or is about to be.

I don't think GA would see it as betrayal. GA is willing to do whatever it takes - that the ends always justifies the means, which makes him very different from CK. GA also thinks that CK is lazy because he waits for trouble to show up on his door while GA is being proactive.
I didn't think Oliver scoffed at the crystal. More like he was freaked out about the whole alien thing. I absolutely loved his reaction...:D

Time will tell, I just thought what happened in that episode was out of character. What if that mannequin had been a real person and not Lex? Oliver is on steroid rage or something.

Lex even hooked up to a machine is still evil and Tess is evil. Shelby is not. Beyond that I'm still worried about Lois taking off with Oliver. Clark has no friends it seems.
