Sorry, but every time is a good time for a Captain Planet reference. My guess, my real one, is there is no cliffhanger. Clark is befuddled as his attacks seem to bounce off Doomsday, but the creature will depart midway through a one-sided battle, my guess is it's self-preservation telling it is getting ready to revert to Davis-form. However, now that Davis has accepted his destiny, he remembers what he does in Doomsday form so knows Clark is Kal-El, and hatches a plan to turn Chloe(who is now unaware of Clarks superness) against him. The show will end either with a heart-felt between Clark and Chloe or Clark and Lana, or Clark discussing this new threat with Oliver(not Twist, the Green Arrow NEVER wants some more...unless its Lois, but hey-who wouldnt?). But since the following episode will have wide range of it's own, dealing with the Legion of Super Heroes, I doubt there is any real cliff-hanger with which to carry over.

hmmm My thought of the cliffhanger would probably include Saturn Girl, L Lad, C Boy and if we're lucky maybe a quick cameo of Brainiac......I know all 4 aren't mention to be on the show but think about if they were then we can all guess that would be it and SV loves their cliffhangers....so perhaps something dealing with characters fighting or something.....on another note with DD blowing up the party, is Clark going to fight in front of the crowd, wouldn't he blow his cover? I'm curious in seeing how the writers have this set up....

I actually had the thought that perhaps Clark might fly in those last seconds. Other than that, Brainiac might show up, or something. (I hope so.)

It is important to remember that the Legion is showing in the next episode. That could mean something will happen that can be undone (so to speak) by Saturn Girl or time travel next time.

The only thing that will come as a real shock though is if Clark flies.

I believe it is implied that it is Lex at the end of the episode, however there is also a possiblity of Brainiac 5. It gives a bit more creedence to the tubes, and what not, also helps for the reasoning behind the Legion showing up in Smallville......But it's probably Lex.

I thought it was pretty clear that he was watching the camcorder video that Jimmy's friend left on the floor of the barn. Three guesses as to who provided Lex with the video:

1. Lana.
2. Lana's long-lost sister, Lana.

It didn't even show his face, I don't think it would offend Michael that much...

You saw his face and body on the TV screen. Even if you couldn't identify his whole face, you know they were trying to make it Lex.

I'm just saying. In my opinion, it felt like that. They brought Kristin, yes she was under contract, but they could've tried to bring in Michael for that last scene, even if he wasn't to be show in "Legion". Just a sneak peak of the Lex that has been in the series before would've been a much better cliffhanger.

Unless they make it so Lex is disfigured...but really, that's something only AlMiles would do...::cough::Morgan Edge::cough::

It was a silly and far-fetched idea to show Lex, but not be Michael Rosenbaum.

You are thinking wrong bald guy. Think alongside mainly Legion of Superheroes villian who is ALSO bald and has plugs in his head instead. And the original portrayer already said that he wanted to continue using THAT character if possible.

And as everything else that has been going on in this series to become more like the comic book, the TV incarnations are going from original mech based now to organic, though the outward appearance is going retro with the plugs.

The speculation that this could be someone other than Lex doesn't seem to fit the the last scene of "Bride". In the scene we are shown someone who is obviously incapacitated and using medical equipment. And who also happens to be bald just like Lex. I'd say that's good odds that this is Lex and not some other bald character.(plus there is other evidence I'll reveal later in an image I uploaded)

Now while it may be true that there are other characters who are bald, the use of medical equipment doesn't fit their persona/story/origins. Lex is the only one who is bald AND has good reason to be using medical equipment as a means of recuperation. I mean the fortress fell on him for goodness sakes. These other characters just don't fit the type/story line. Bald yes! but needing medical equipment too? No.

Check out the image to see what I'm talking about. This is more than likely Lex recuperating. The small bit of extra evidence included in the image does look convincing.
