Yes, it was!
If anybody's wondering it was called called "Don't Take Your Love Away (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZ9A5fTDJ4c&feature=related)" by an awesome band named "Vast"
Sv also used their song "one more day" in the end clana scene in Veritas.

I was really surprised to see the episode have a musical ending, like in all previous seasons, and which has been absent for the past 9 episodes of this season. Good song by Vast btw. They also previously did the song "One More Day" at the end of Veritas in Season 7, which was also a good song

Kudos.
It's been a long time. I used to expect good music placement from Smallville, they lost track somewhere along the line. The ending was so great because I simply just wasn't expecting music to help set the scene.
Whoever is in charge of deciding on music for the show have done their job.

That song by Vast MADE the last scenes! It was like the perfect way to end it. The whole Lois walking away from Clark...gah...and then the way he was looking at her. I wanted him to just not let her go. Then Chloe and Doomsday.
I think even the dance/almost kiss scene between Clois could have been better with different music. But hey, that's just my opinion!
I think the band just got some new fans. =D

Loved that song! Here are the lyrics;
I am looking for inspiration
And i think i found it in your heart
It's a kind of thing you get when you're not looking
It's a kind of thing you had from the start
Put me on a ship that is sinking
On a voyage to an untamed land
Take away the freedoms I wanted
I understand
Please, Don't take your love away from me
Don't take your love away from me
Please don't take your love away from me
Put me inside flesh that is dying
A ghost that wanders without rest
Burried by desires and weakness
I understand
Please, Don't take your love away from me
Don't take your love away from me
Please don't take your love from me
Please don't take your love from me
I loved how Lois was walking away with her dignity as Clark was watching her go. It's a sign of things to come, and I'm looking forward to Clark now being the pursuer.;)
Also, here is a link to the song on youtube. Unfortunately, it's not a Smallville clip, but hopefully a talented fan will make a nice Clois one for us!

Hi,
does anyone know the song that was playing when lana and clark were talking upstairs in the barn. i think the lyrics are something like:

our love's surprising even me, with it's endless possibilities

As I said in another topic, when Lois and Clark are dancing the music sounds like a S. Bechet's music (it was really like "petite fleur"). I liked it ! But for the last song, I am now used to not hearing songs in this season anymore. I find it is such a pitty to have change this thing now...

That was a great choice of music. Using only the instrumental score for Lois and Clark dancing together was awesome; they don't need lyrics all the time, the top notch acting can speak for itself. But the ending with the music by Vast was awesome too because sometimes lyrics can also add meaning and man did it ever!

Thanks you both. Croweyes, have you heard "petite fleur" ? You agree with me ? ;) I don't know how it is in U.S. but I think in my country, you can't do that : take a music and change it just a little but I learned this week the copyright is more complicated in France than in U.K. for example (I thought it was the same everywhere !). France is very hard about rights and all these things, sometimes it annoys me a lot...But anyway, what matters is it was beautiful in SV and reminds me S. Bechet.

I just think they need to bring lifehouse back...
MrsK: The first, "Wild For You" is when the cake is cut. The second, "Sidewalk Stroll" is when Clark and Chloe dance. The reason the order is that way is because, while the cake cutting takes place later in the chronology of the episode than the dance, the later scene is actually shown first - at the beginning of the show, during the video footage montage. The song re-appears later during the actual cake scene, so it is used twice. As with everything at ***, the first appearance is what takes priority when listing.
Got it. Thanks for helping me get all these straight! :) So is the Jimmy/Chloe dance (also briefly shown in the teaser before the cake is cut, IIRC) the "How I Feel" track?
I assume "The Key Free" is when Jimmy and Lois are standing at the altar before Clark and Chloe come in to Pachelbel's Canon in D, yes?

Can anyone tell me the name of the artist that sings the song, "keep your heart?" In the scene where Lois and Oliver talk about how much she has feelings for a guy and they are not returned. It had a pop/urban feel to it. It was definitely a female lead singer. I would appreciate any and all help in this situation.
Thank you very much in Advance,
Christopher

I swear this is the first time this season that they've used a song with lyrics at the end of an episode
Im so happy about that because instead of oversuing songs throughout the season, they use one at the most emotional moments. And it means much more to me.

Yes, I think the end song is tired of me. Haha. I played that the entire day after I saw the episode.

Great ending to the epi with Vast's "Don't take your love away".
With the budget cuts, I guess I can live with limited superpower effects, but the show really isn't what it was back in the first 5 seasons, with excellent musical scores that included great songs like this one.
Damn you Dawn Ostroff, damn you to hell.

My homepage is now updated with info about "Endless", guys! It's actually called "Possibilities" by Nadia Fay. It is available on iTunes. The track was retitled for the network, and the artist was listed as the library owners, which is why this took so long to locate. Cheers!
Thanks a lot, Croweyes1121!

Loved that song! Here are the lyrics;
I am looking for inspiration
And i think i found it in your heart
It's a kind of thing you get when you're not looking
It's a kind of thing you had from the start
Put me on a ship that is sinking
On a voyage to an untamed land
Take away the freedoms I wanted
I understand
Please, Don't take your love away from me
Don't take your love away from me
Please don't take your love away from me
Put me inside flesh that is dying
A ghost that wanders without rest
Burried by desires and weakness
I understand
Please, Don't take your love away from me
Don't take your love away from me
Please don't take your love from me
Please don't take your love from me
I loved how Lois was walking away with her dignity as Clark was watching her go. It's a sign of things to come, and I'm looking forward to Clark now being the pursuer.;)
Also, here is a link to the song on youtube. Unfortunately, it's not a Smallville clip, but hopefully a talented fan will make a nice Clois one for us!

When Clark is looking at Lois walk away the song is saying I am looking for inspiration, And I think i found it in your heart, It's a kind of thing you get when you're not looking, It's a kind of thing you had from the start. But notice when the song comes to the part where it says Put me on a ship that is sinking they show Lana. If this is a song from Clark's POV, this song says a lot about his relationship with Lana and a lot about what he thinks about Lois.
