I thought it was very sad but a very well written and acted scene.
Its just sad that Chloe does not keep her memories about clark's abilities.

I agree it was a bittersweet moment.

It was.
I hope she finds out again, though, because it's so sad that she forgot.
You have to admit, however, that AlMiles probably never would have done something so surprising.

He truly has begun the transformation into Superman. I truly gutwrenching decision, that was for Chloe's own good. How is he gonna explain to Lana why Chloe doesn't remember his secret?

Maybe Lana will get bumped on the head and forget too.

Really? I could have sworn Superman had better judgement.

Superman has the best judgment. Safety first.

I was hoping that there was some way that Chloe could retain her memories about Clark, but when I saw how happy she looked after her memory was restored - sans Clark's secret - I realized it really was for the best. Definitely one of the most bittersweet moments on this show - and it was very well acted.
I can not wait for next week. "Bride" looks amazing!

I feel like Chloe has been close to Clark for a long time and everybody knows how important she is to him. I don't think she's in any less danger, but now she doesn't know she's in danger. Maybe her stress level is lower, but her ability to watch out for danger has been taken from her, and Clark can't watch her at all times. I hope this is rectified at some point, I just don't buy that "Chloe can go back".

It's kind of funny, but for some reason I kept hoping that Chloe does still remember something about Clark. She probably doesn't (it may just be wishful thinking), but if "Doomsday" is still attracted to her, then it must be because she is still connected to Clark and and his secret. Of course she's Clark's best friend and Davis is very much in love with her, but I think there is something more. I just find it hard to believe that this series will end with her not knowing everything about him. I'll accept it if she in fact never finds out Clark's secret again, but I won't be surprised either if she does start to re-remember things.

I understood why Clark wanted to do that but it was wrong of him to take Chloe's memories without her permission.

It was the most "at ease" I've seen TW in an emotional scene. His acting especially in this scene and in prior discussions with Chloe seemed so ORGANIC.

I'm really hoping that she will somehow find out again, it just sucks that she will no longer be the person he goes to when he needs help:(, I guess Oliver can always replace her in that way..

I agree. Usually these type of scenes are not his strongest suit, but he did well. I think he has brought his acting "A" game this season in general.

I cried during that scene. And I'm not a Chlarker, but that's is the first time I ever remember crying on sv....that was so sad.
TW Definately has brought his "A" game this season...He's amazing!

It was such a sad moment! The scene when Chloe first lost the memories hit me harder. Clark was pleading with her to remember him. Just recently while reading the Season Seven Companion book, I was reminded of "Cure" and how desperate Clark was that Chloe not forget him.
