When will smallville air in the New York area because of the pre-emption due to the NFL Jet- Patriot game? The November 13th show is a very important episode that i don't want to miss.

It's also being pre-empted in the New England area (including Boston). It will air Saturday at 6:00pm.

The ratings will take a hit with both the New York area and the New England area (including Boston) out of the equation.

DAMN the game also airs, however, I have TWO CW channels. CW 11 and CW 20. Do you east coasters have 2 CW channels as well?

i live in cattaraugus county, new york... and my directv lisiting still says smallville abyss is on at 8 pm... hopefully it is...

Yeah, mine says that too. Except I don't have Direct TV, I have IO. But even before IO, I had two CW channels.

K-Site says there's a new Smallville episode at 8pm, but my Cable Box only says they're showing a football game at that time and there's no mention of Smallville!?!?!!?? WTF???? So if you live in New York you just can't see Abyss????

I've been watching literally every episode of Smallville since the first episode aired in October 2001, and I've never had a problem like this!

I dont have two cw channels, just one regular and one HD which is the one I usually watch cuz the episodes look better, but on my cable IO it says they will show the episode on Saturday at 6pm

I feel bad for the folks in the nyc area not being able to see it tonight and have to wait a few days to see it or not. I thankfully live in upstate western ny in an area were cw isnt affilated with sport preempts so i get to see the episode.

Well aren't you lucky. Nope, I only have the CW11. Luckily, I have a friend who has Directv so he is switching to a different area for his local channels. I'll watch the Jets game on the NFL network and then watch Smallville on DVR after that.:D

Football games never get rained out. They play through blizzards if they have to. Only lightning causes a stoppage in play, and there will be none of that tonight.

This is ridiculous. Couldn't they put it on some other friggin channel?!? Thursday is probably CW's best primetime lineup, and they gotta give that up for a football game.

I was so pissed off!
I don't know if they rescheduled it and I missed it but according to my cable company it wasn't on at all. Instead it was a Jet's game. I checked the guide and it wasn't on before or after the game...at least not in my area.

Just found the thread discussing this prior to when it should have been on. At least it'll be on Saturday at 6:00. Still not too happy about it.

I'm in Jersey and missed it too. I didn't know anything about it and the cable company I have didn't say anythig or put up any notice saying it would be on Saturday. At least I 'll get to see it.

BTW, that football game lasted way back 11PM. When I put my TV on and saw it, I was not smiling. Then of course I came on here and spoiled myself completely. I can't just wait one more day, can I?

OK. I'm glad I've seen the episode. But SERIOUSLY, Storms which began at exactly 6PM, so my signal is DOWN from DirectTV for the premiere of "Abyss" in NYC Metro.

UNBELIEVABLE. I wanted to watch it in HD and on the big screen.

Ok, I complained to quick. It only blacked out the first couple minutes for me. Whew! Season on TiVo still in tact.
