i was shocked at davis' confession, but glad that it was said. i agree with him she's marrying the wrong guy.
chlavis have real chem. i just don't see it between chimmy.
chloe will definately be remembering that kiss. it was hot.

The Chlavis scenes were, as always, such a wonderful mixture of hot and heartfelt. Davis was so cute the whole episode. He wanted to be a gentleman and respect Chloe's choice but at the same time his feelings for her were just eating away at him. He almost gave his love note to Jimmy! LOL! By accident of course. Then at the end... his confession to Chloe. Oh it almost made me cry! My heart was just melting! Why oh why are you a monster Davis? Why couldn't you just be infected with something? Like Chloe was?!

You know how I feel about Jimmy/Chimmy and I'm NOT happy about them getting married next week. Doomy cannot come soon enough!

However, Chlavis is majorly HOT and I WANT more of it. I know, I know, he's a monster. But Davis/Chlavis (without Doomy) is made of WIN! I would LOVE for them to be able to separate Davis and Doomy like they're going to Chloe and Brainiac.

Are you sure Davis had a love not, or was it the invitation reply? Jimmy did say something about him dropping it in the mail so he could have saved himself a trip. But then again, I pretty much ignore Jimmy so I have no idea what he said.

Man, Davis really laid it on the line with Chloe. He's bee SO respectful of her and her decision to marry Jimmy, but he couldn't take it any more. He did the right thing in helping her, yet letting Clark and Jimmy help too despite the fact that he wanted to help her all by himself. He knows there's an attraction on BOTH sides, caresses her face, and then goes in for the kiss! Chloe even kisses him back, but then pulls back . . .

Darn it, my two favorite ships just aren't made to last on this show. But I sure am going to enjoy them while they last (well, while Chlavis last because Chlark is done).

BTW, does anyone have a link/stills to that scene they'd mind sharing?

I think if Davis wasn't a Kryptonian creature destined to be an evil monster that this could have been a power couple. they are cute together and davis really loves her but then again was their connection partly brainiac? and of course chloe better steer sooo clear since he's the anti superman aww well what could have been

Eh, I was never to into Chlavis once I found out that the connection was supposed to be because Brainiac was inside of Chloe (that's what I read somewhere a month or two ago, I forget where exactly).

Maybe at the end of the series George from Apocalypse will show up and sweep Chloe off her feet, and they'll move away from Smallville.

That guy was begging like crazy and pleading to Chloe. Chloe obviously feels something for him since she listened to his stalker self and kissed him briefly.

I thought it was sweet.....and then when he kisses her...ok. It must be said, I could feel the heat in my living room! There was so much sexual tension right before that kiss, I'm surprised they both didnt burn up.

I'm a little disappointed in Chloe for leaning in. Not because it happend...but because she is going to walk back to jimmy and pretend nothings happening. This girl needs to learn to deal with her feelings!

But yes Kevin...the last part where he says "I'm not ready to let you go." My first thought was..."ok, that was creepy!" :lol: Nothing hot about that....almost sounds like a threat. "I'll wait as long as it takes" kind of made up for it....but he did sound very possessive and creepy towards the end.

all of that being said, the kiss....WOO! :o I still wish Chloe would have let it go a tad further though....:lol:

Um...previous episodes Chlavis scenes had chemistry but I just wasn't feeling it last night. I accidentally spoiled myself and read that he would kiss her before I saw the episode (all you East Coast people...lol) so I was really curious about how it would play out. After seeing how Jimmy was so devoted to Chloe throughout the episode, the Chlavis kiss made me sad. I liked that she pretty much broke it off right away (I really didn't see any leaning in). That spark that I've seen in other episodes just wasn't there tonight, IMO of course. Prey almost made me a Chlavis fan but last night's episode swayed me to lean more towards Chimmy again.

From my viewpoint, Davis feels Chloe and him have a deep connection with her only remembering Davis and nobody else.
My problem with Chimmy is they are missing something: Chemistry. That is what it is. And Chloe and Jimmy just don't have chemistry, so it doesn't click for me. It comes off as fake, with AM trying to hard to sell Chimmy. And it doesn't work. At least for me.
Now Chloe and Davis are a different story. These two have amazing chemistry from the start. I was sold on Chlavis (second fav ship). Although it's sad that Davis is really an evil monster because if he wasn't then they would make a great couple.

I have liked their chemistry from the get-go and enjoy the extra squeal-factor that comes from knowing what Davis is about to become. Still, makes me wish the guy could get the Chloe. Chimmy has moments where they can be sweet, but man, too much sweetness is NOT a good thing. SW makes Davis sooooo appealing, you really want to root for him. It is going to make the appearance of Doomsday that much more of an edge-of-your-seat ride! Woo!
