I'm really looking forward to this episode... then again i am always looking foward and eager for the new episodes. I am a little upset there will be do CLois in this episode, but i know that it's for the best. Seriously tho, i am a HUGE CLois fan if you couldn't tell.

anticipating the fortress scene. we get two boomers in one. from the spoiler pictures clark get the fortress back today which is awesome and we get to see clark crying over the possiblity of chloes death.

I can't believe this episode is finally here. After the early spoilers about Chloe possibly forgetting and know we're at the home stretch, will she or won't she? I don't know but either way its going to be an amazing episode. At least we have reassurance that after this we know they're still close friends (as in Bride they seem as strong as ever).

This could possibly be my favourite episode of Season 8 easily. I love Chlark so much, I don't mind if they never get together officially (with Lois being 'canon' in all) but even the Chlark friendship is so amazing. Tom and Alison have such amazing combination on screen, I can't wait for this.

This will definitely be an interesting episode. I wonder what Clark will decide. Well, whatever he decides I hope that it doesn't take away ALL the Chlarkness (The "Scooby Gang" Chlark friendship that I love). I mean, I just hope Chimmy doesn't completely take over. Chimmy is just so... ick. Hah.

My heart aches too. Clark mind raped Chloe and unwittingly played into Brainiac's hands. Brainiac was erasing Chloe's memories and she was fighting it which ultimately ws the best decision. Clark's decision to make Chloe forget his secret gave Brainiac the helping hand he needed.

This is the third time that Brainiac has played him.

Anyone see the flashbacks! All the Chlark kisses! The barn scene was really cute too. Then the Vessel scene Chloe couldn't bear to loose Clark... I have to say without a doubt Clark loves Chloe. He might have not said it but he showed it. With the kiss, it was all so sweet. Clark was very wrong in erasing his secret, Chloe even said that knowing his secret changed her life for the good. I mean Clark just why? I think Clark will realize his mistake in the near future. Overall Chlark was great tonight!

The Chlark scenes tonight made me partially realize the Chlarky side within me... I really liked how Chloe tried to keep Clark in her mind during the Dark Thursday loss memories and how she was willing to stay with him in the barn until Jimmy came.

So very sad to see all the memeries they share together while knowing the secret, is now gone.

One thing I like about this episode is how hard chloe was fighting to keep from forgetting about clark and even the first memory see lost of him. She still trust him to stay at the barn, it took lots of begging from jimmy to finally go the hospital.

I am so pissed right now I can hardly type. I think we have every right to be upset with Clark and blame him for what happen tonight. Clark is the one that decided to tell Chloe his secret four years ago. Yeah, she saw him catch a car through Alicia's betrayal but he was the one in Arrival who decided to come clean and tell all and that included his Krptonian heritage. If he really wanted to protect her then he should have never told her his secret. He didn't have to tell her in Arrival, but he CHOSE TO ON HIS OWN TERMS. He screwed up her life over the past four years and now he wants to take it all back. Well, that's not fair. Chloe doesn't deserve that. She has sacrificed so much of her life for him and now she's be tossed aside like trash. She has been a loyal friend to him from the beginning and she deserves better. What Clark did tonight is the most despicable thing he could ever do. And then he's going to be sucking face with her cousin in next weeks episode. I can't tell you how angry and disappointed I am in Clark Kent right now and (PS3). If this is the future superman I have to look forward to then can I please be sent someone else with integrity. He has no integrity whatsoever. No matter what he thought he was doing for the benefit of Chloe, he should have not made that decision for her. SHE SHOULD HAVE MADE THE DECISION NOT HIM. He didn't even bat an eye while erasing Chloe's memories after the fact she told him not to. You can't screw up someone's life like that and then just expect to walk away clean and pretty. Clark was a total ignorant bastard tonight and I don't mind saying it.

That was my favorite part too. The way she was trying to hold on to him, to keep him in her memories, both her younger self and older self..... **sighs** Made the Chlarky side of my heart skip a beat.:D

I said that I wouldn't watch this episode, but I'm glad I did. The flashbacks were great, the Chlark kisses, really wished they would have thrown in the vessel kiss, but anyway I loved almost the whole episode, which is rare for me this season.:p

But now we bounce back to reality and he freakin mind rapes her...... SO NOT COOL CLARK!!!:mad:

Oh I this this episode was just shy a declaration. How old and tired is the hero keeping the secret from the girlfriend "for her safety". Why bring up all the history, and the romance if not to emphasize it.

That said, mind wipe was annoying. How hard would it have been to force Clark's hand a little so he could make a tough descision rather than an idiotic one.

I'm not entirely happy with the mindwipe but I am happy he erased the secret to protect her and not when I first heard the spoilers to make her life happily ever after with Jimmy.

I think it is very telling that all Chloe's special memories are romantic Chlark moments. So much for the argument that Chloe doesn't love Clark romantically. She fought those memories. It was so heart breaking when Chloe told Clark she had to get him into a safe memory.

I thought the Chlark scenes were great. She remembered he BFF until Brainiac removed all but memories of Doomy.

Loved the 8th Grade Chlark, and I think the resetting of the Chlark relationship to pre-Pariah (when Alicia showed Chloe Clark catching the car) isn't the end of the world. Should lead to some very interesting plotlines in the rest of this season and, hopefully, the next.

Some thoughts, all rather random.

1. Highly promoted Amish Barn Kiss was cute. I was distracted by the actors looking too young. I think that was to drive in the point that Chlark have been friends for a very, very long time.

2. The redone Pariah car catch was cheesy.

3. I was surprised to see as many Chlark kisses, especially the Magnetic kiss.

4. Chloe's feelings for Clark seem to be redirected to Davis now.

5. Clark's already feeling the consequences of his doofus-ness.

I think a lot of the reason why Clark went that way is because Chloe was trying to hide to from him how bad it had gotten with the Brainiac infection. I'd be geniuly upset over this if I thought it was going to last. I can't see how it can. Too much of Chloe's past is centered around Clark. She forgot him last. It was her End of the World, and then Davis stepped to fill the Clark hole in her mind.

The relationship that Chloe and Davis have will be built on the ruins of Chlark (akin to Clois but quite different). The end of Abyss was hot because Davis is evil Clark stand-in. Clark's not going to let Davis or Doomsday to be amuck in Smallville.

It seems to me that Abyss is the show that cemented Chlark endgame. Everything else are plot devices for this viewer. Even Brainiac's infection is a plot device, so Chloe would lose her memory of the secret and so Clark could work Chloe to come back to him. I believe it was basically promised to the audience.

I loved Clark's apology to Chloe, and how she's saved him more times than he's saved her. The kiss on the forehead, the memory loss of his superness, well, if you're going to borrow from Superman II, this is the scene to use.

Whole mind-rape aside (don't even get me started... seriously), I thought the Chlarky moments in this episode were great.

- I loved that she forgot Jimmy before she forgot Clark. I guess we know who's more important to her eh?

- I loved that all of her important memories of Clark were romantic ones. Yeah. She's totally over him. Really.

- I loved watching her fight to keep him, running him from memory to memory. Just about broke my heart.

-I absolutely, absolutely ADORED the barn scene. It's something that Chlarkers have been wondering about for years, and I think it was done fantastically. Also, whoever cast the young Chloe actress deserves a giant chocolate cake. Did anyone else think that she a) looked convincingly like a younger version of AM and b) Did a freaking terrific job of imitating her mannerisms and speaking patterns? I was like, whoa, this is someone to watch for.

I didn't think the young actors were good but I still enjoyed the sweet innocence of the scene. The young actress did resemble AM.

Those scenes still get to me too. Chloe's crib sheets are eerily similar to her Wall of Weird in Labryinth.

I'm glad Clark didn't let Chloe brush him off and decided to open the library amid her protests. He allowed her to brush him off in Toxic and Instinct but he refused to drop the issue this time and that made me proud of him.
