Okay, I'm still at a loss. What's the point of this episode? If Chloe's going to remember Clark's secret in a couple of episodes, why do they subject us to her losing it now?

Maybe so that she doesn't fight back in Legion when the Legion of Superheroes comes with Clark to release Brainiac's hold on her. But I agree because I can't really imagine the future episodes that we've received spoilers about without Chloe knowing his secret...

Glad they had James Marsters do the voice over for Brainac. Hadn't expected him to speak in this episode. However it was great they finally had Clark call Jor-el "Father" and that he gave him the run down on Doomsday.

Can't wait to see Doomsday in the flesh next week. This season has been great and is just getting better. They should have forced the old producers out sooner.

I got chills again at the last scene of Clark in the fortress with Jor-El! The tptb are really making sure Clark gets to where he needs to be.

I went slow mo from the kids running down the barn steps until Chloe wakes up in the hospital and I saw the symbol twice. Once right after Clark gets sucked out into the Brainiac matrix homage. He turns to face Chloe as she is on the Dooms symbol, the Superman logo comes up and then it goes right to a shot of the Vessel kiss and then back to Chloe. (There were actually a lot of flashes of Vessel Chlark scenes in the Dark Thursday bit.)

The second time I rember seeing it is shortly after Davis takes Chloe's hand in the DP. The Superman logo comes up in tandem with the Dooms logo. Nice and creepy.

To me it is because Jor-El felt the danger. The Fortress of Solitude begins to be destroyed, the floor tremble,...and Clark is already gone. It is what is disturbing most at the end, will we see again the Fortress as we know it or it is completely over because of Brainiac ? I can't imagine SV without the Fortress and Clark without speaking to his "father"...At least, everybody has seen this epi, at last !!!:D
