Not too impressed with this series. I watched tonight's episode but missed the last two to three weeks. It's just not grabbing my attention like I thought it would. I'll give this show one more viewing next week before I cast it aside indefinetely.

I'd give tonight's episode a 7/10; last week's was better, but this one had some good elements. I liked the comraderie between Mike & Sarah, and Billy & Zoe...but anyone who's read my prior posts will know the true extent of my opinions with the constant "tension" on the series. I really hope the writers start using some different approaches to the characters, because the "Sex 101" routine is really beginning to get old. :(

On the positive side, I liked the idea that Mike largely hates politics (because so do I), and I was rather surprised when Nikki actually shot him. The scene of Sarah patching him up was a nice way to show another kind of connection between those two characters; Justin & Deanna sold that moment really well. So far, this isn't the worst episode of the show, but it's not the best either IMO. Solid with some admirable qualities, but still rather off-center in a few ways. :)

a shotgun fired from a distance of about 10 meters would have sprayed the pellets all over Mike... unless, Nikki is a good gunslinger and angled the gun so that only a few pellets would graze Mike's shoulder... we didn't see if the barrel was directly pointed at Mike or not when the trigger was pulled.

I to thought it was just ok. This show has started to give me mixed emotions. Last week it was both anger and intrigue about KARR, and now this one did the same thing with KITT coving the bomb. While I loved the scene since it's abaout as classic as Turbo Boost, I was also a bit confused since the new KITT shouldn't have been able to take that kind of punishment. The nanotech paint so far has been shown as much weaker than the original KITT and his molecular bonded shell.

I'm really hoping they mention that KITT has mbs now or some form of it. Maybe next they'll have him crash through some walls. That's one of the aspects of the original show I'd love to see again.

ok. run this by me:

1.) Why, why WHY would an ex ranger hesitate in taking a headshot when the person holding a hostage is armed with nothing but a knife? I know a couple of rangers, and I know...I know they'd be able to disconnect that guy's brain from the rest of his body without even inflicting a nick on the girl.

2.) Is there actually anyone that this top secret organisation isn't known to or otherwise funded by?

3.) Wouldn't you notice a car turning from a mustang into an oversouped killing machine in the middle of a busy city?

This is just the start. I really, really wanted to like this show, but it's beginning to irk me more than the new clone wars series does.

I'm still feeling rather conflicted about this show. Still too much focus on sex (in all its variants) and KITT not exploding after that bomb went off didn't make sense. It was a nice tribute to the original series, but doesn't add up with KITT's nanopaint.
All in all, I feel like Antithesis. We'll see what next week brings us, even though I cannot understand what the episode order is. It seems to me even Craig has given up!

Not to mention that kitt always seems to be at risk of blowing up in some way or other.

Last weeks episode got me thinking that maybe they are going to tone down the sex stuff and start focusing on the Knight Rider mytho... This week was more of the same that makes me want to give up on the series. While last week's was not perfect, it was still the best episode so far. This one (and from the looks of the previews, next weeks) isn't one of the best.

I'm excited for the cast shake up. Too many people. I can't stand the Carrie (FBI lady agent). Zoe irritates me some times, and Billy I could be fine without. With Sarah's background, they don't need the rest. After all, Bonnie could do it solo! ;)

I will say this much... At least they cut out the Gay stuff (mostly) that they had in the pilot.

I thought last week signalled a change in the status quo of the series - more serious in tone, almost no sex, and heaps of Mythos.

Turns out that having a *good* episode was merely a blip and we're back to sex & braindeath

Tell me about it; the shower scene was possibly the most forced scene yet. How is it that an organisation with all it's amazing gadgets and own base can't afford seperate showering areas for men and women? :p

I Love This Show, I Hope That It Continues. Kitt Is Amazing And Michael Knight What A Hottie. :) I Enjoy The Story Lines Every Week. I Read Some Of The Messages And People Want It To Be Like The Old Knight Ride, If They Had Made It Like That People Would Complain That It Was Not A Newer Version Of The Show. All The Characters Are Great The Chemistry Between Each One Is Solid :) Two Thumbs Up For This Show. :):)very Enjoyable

You don't have to capitalize the first letter of every word? O_o

The things is not to make it LIKE the original series, that this is supposed to be a continuation set 22/23 years later. But to respect the source material and the core principals of the original, it lacks the heart, spirit and passion of the original series. From what has aired it shares next to nothing and they've basically tried to throw almost everything out. There is no true connection (and I don't mean having Hasselhoff or anyone from TOS involved) other than an acronym and a few references. They're trying to do things "their way" instead of embracing the history and the reasons why this show still has a fairly large fan base all over the world roughly 23 years after the final episode was filmed. Hardly anything good has ever comes from people taking something established and doing it their way instead of respecting what came before it and the source material.

I had absolutely no problem with what they were doing in these initial episodes and the government involvement because I already had a general idea and expected that it would still lead to the eventual removal of that element in a showdown that could have been great to watch. However the writing and general direction have pretty much wasted that opportunity. I liked the idea of the government basically having Knight Industries at their mercy and the effects it would have. But the writing has been terrible to the point where, the writing of the original series is almost completely Emmy worthy in comparison, even at its worst (hello VooDoo Knight!).

Of course they've seen how things were not working out and how bad it was, they've changed direction for a third time. To be fair, I do think some of these changes were something that was in the works before we even saw the first episode and it wasn't something that came out of no where. Especially since they were already working on episode 15 when it was announced and things start to change on episode ten and they were working on or finishing up episode nine when the show premiered.
