Are you going to be able to start writing the story soon, KKfan4ever. Really like your sitename by-the-by. Anyway, this story's description sounds so good so I can't wait to read it.

I bet seeing me post made you all think I posted the 1st chapter. Well I know I said one thing but work has kept from finishing off the chapter. Working 12 hour shifts is not fun but I'll see what I can do this week. I need to stop making promises as it seems RL gets in the way times than not with me....lol. I'll see what I can work on after I get home from work but some nights just feel like relaxing instead. So please all I can ask of you is to be paitence with me and I will find some way to make most of you happy maybe not all.

-----Chapter 1: Voice On The Radio-----
The late night Disc Jockey made her final preparations for tonight programming. She was almost done when over on the couch she heard tossing and turning. As she turned around she saw the most beautiful young lady laying there her, daughter. She kept praying for the same miracle every night for her father to return from his untimely death. She knew it would never happen, but she hoped she was bringing up their child right. She slowly made her way over to the couch to make sure she wasn’t having another nightmare. It seemed lately she was having more restless nights. Every single doctor she took her to they could not explain what was going with her daughter there was no explanation. After singing a lullaby and kissing her daughter on the forehead she made her way back over to her desk to grab her notes. As she walked down the hall towards the booth she hoped this would not be one of those crazy nights with men calling in trying to hit on her or just those rambling callers. She did not get her hopes up as she is the most popular Disc Jockey in Metropolis. Since she started working at the radio station the ratings have only gone up each quarter. Just as she entered the booth her assistant in another room started pointing at her watch.
“Almost started the show with out you honey.” Samantha said.
“I don’t think you would start the show with out me.” She said with a smile.
“How is Jasmine doing?”
“She was tossing and turning yet again; I don’t know what else to do.” She said with a sigh.
“Well I would suggest someone, but I know you would say no and you are On Air in 5…4…3…2…1.” Samantha pointed to her to let her know she was live now.
“Good evening all my loyal listeners out there in radio land, thank you again for joining me tonight.”
As she went on she looked over at Samantha and gave her a dirty look as she knew there is one person who has offered, but she has refused it. Samantha knew she would get an ear full during the first song which she could only hope was a short one. She knew better though as the song would be the longest one she could possibly play on air.
“Well people I say we get this party started with a little Pink.”
The Disc Jockey knew she had 3 minutes to let Samantha know what she said right before she went on air was wrong. Samantha it was coming, but she has heard good things as well. Samantha tends to try to find the good in everyone as that is how she was brought up. She would give people second chances in life.
“Samantha, please tell me you were not referring to the most hated man in Metropolis.”
“Why won’t you give him a chance he has offered his doctors free of service to you?”
“Which is what scares me the most, I believe in my heart, he would have them run so many tests on her, and she would never be the same again.”
“How about get something in writing stating if he does any illegal activity…..you could sue him?”
“If he ever did any of that he would not have to worry about me suing him instead he would have to worry my foot kicking him where the sun doesn’t shine.”
“Honey, you know I am only trying to look out for you and Jasmine.”
“Yes, I know and I am very thankful for that.”
“Well stop disagreeing with me and call Mr. Luthor and set up a meeting.”
“I told you never to use his name in this studio while I am here!”
With that the light started blinking letting her know she only had 15 seconds until she was live again. She wanted to try to convince Samantha talking to him would be the worst thing in the world. Till this day she believes he had some part in her husband death. She knew in her heart he had some part of it, but she has not collected enough evidence against him to prove otherwise. Trying to bring down a Luthor was like trying to bring down the United States of America it was unheard of.
The night continued on and the Disc Jockey kept getting calls left and right as usual. Then there was one call which stood out to her the most.
“Hello, is this DJ LL?” The scruffy man voice asked.
“Yes you have reached the one and only….what is on your mind tonight.”
“I just wanted to call in and tell you and all your listeners that their savior has returned.”
“Um…..ok, thanks I guess.”
“You do not believe me do you?”
“Man, whoever you are….everyone who says they are our savior turns out to be another crazy person.”
“Well then I guess my actions will speak louder than words with the people here then?”
Before DJ LL could get another word the man had already hung up the phone on her. She sat there for a couple of more minutes in silence until she heard Samantha tapping on the glass window. She snapped out of the trance she was in and continued on with the rest of the programming. After her final good night on the radio she made her way back to her office to tidy up a few things before leaving. She picked up Jasmine her arms which she was still half a sleep. She gently kissed her on the cheeks. Jasmine slowly started to rub her eyes as she began to wake up.
“Mommy?” Jasmine sounding half a sleep still.
“Yes, sweetie what is it?”
“When will all the bad people leave my head?”
“Soon sweetie they will leave very soon…..I promise.”
As she walked out of the radio station she was slowly stroking Jasmine hair trying to make her feel more comfortable. After putting Jasmine in to the car seat they were on their way to drop her off at school.
