View Full Version : So How Much Does Tess Know About Krypton?

I was under the impression that although Lex had made her his protege, she still didn't quite understand or have knowledge of some of the more secretive things, ie - Krypton, his obsession with Clark, etc. I assumed this is what was meant when by the theft of the Crystal, and the cryptic message about not being "ready yet" (Assuming Lex was responsible...)
Yet in "Bloodline", when Lois/Faora tells her about the "genetic matter on the Kryptonian Ship," she doesn't seem taken aback at the mention of a spaceship, let alone one from "Krypton", and even moreso seems to be familiar with the term. I'm just wondering, if she IS familiar with Krypton, the ship, etc., then why steal the crystal saying she isn't ready? The crystal wouldn't be any more revealing then anything she seems to already know... Anybody see a reasonable explanation for this?

In Instinct she got told by Maxima about a Kryptonian on earth, and she knew then the crystal was Kryptonian and she also knew that the scientist was familiar with some alien technology.

She mentioned before that she was still catching up from projects Lex named after constellations. So she does know a few things about Lex's obsession with Alien technology. But she doesn't know as much. Not nearly enough.

Duh. Thanks, I think I blanked that episode out of my memory. Not one of my faves, lol).
Also, she's manipulative. She'd say "That makes perfect sense" to be able to get more info.

yeah she was just rolling with it to get Lois to spill. Kind of like in that episode ages ago when the kryptonians were looking for Kal El at the hospital and Lana said she'd take them to him even though she didn't actually know who or where he was. I think it was lana??
Yeah. Lana just knew from possessed Lionel talking about their home is their poison, and that the meteor rock was in that locker at the Luthor mansion, and that they came in a meteor shower that it would work out.
Actually that's not nearly tied together as nicely as it might look, so it's surprising she figured that out but didn't twig on Clark being the samaritan.
