Something I dont get about Kara's last scene

Clark tells Kara that he's been keeping his secret away from lois but doing that almost got her killed in the PZ

thing is, if she knew his secret how would the events have been any different?

Im guessing he could have explained the crystal to her and so she wouldnt have grabbed it??

Well yes. Remember how Lois is. Her curiosity always puts her in danger.
But if she didn't have anything to be curious about.....

yeah lol she wouldn't shut up about it.

It wasnt her journalistic curiosity and excitement coming out when she said it which is rare, it was cold bone chilling fear at the notion, which I think is a main reason why she doesnt follow up on it at the end of the episode.

I think that if Lois knew Clark's secret, she would be safer because she would know not to touch this or to do that (and by this and that i mean anything that is closely associate with Clark. i.e. the crystal)
