Clark & Tess Getting It On

Is it just me or is this bound to happen? Every time I there is a Clarkess scene I always get the feeling that Tess is trying to seduce Clark to get the info she wants, especially in this episode. But Clark wouldn't be able to because he's a pansy. The only way that would happen is if he was on Red K. Oh my, what an episode that would be!

I don't think they'll 'get it on' but I'd love to see a scene where Tess is REALLY trying to seduce Clark...It would be kind of awesome...Clark wouldn't know what to do with himself LOL.

But ITA. Tess does always seem like she's coming on to Clark in the scenes she's in with him (not that I blame her...I mean she does have eyes ;))...Using her femine whiles to try and get him to trust her maybe?...

I hope they don't. I'm no fan of Clark/Tess. I'm not really even a fan of Tess. So I wouldn't be particularly happy if something happened between them. I mean, she's not even Clark's type. While I won't deny Tess definitely hits on him, I can't just can't see Clark getting it on with her as himself. If he were to be under the influence of something...maybe, probably. But not as himself. *thinks about it* Ick. Yeah, see, I just can't imagine it. lol. Can totally understand Tess's lust for him, though. ;)

Clark, as far as I can tell, is not going to do anything with Tess. This Clark in season 8 so far is making less and less mistakes and is definitely not gullible.

I don't see Clark ever falling for Tess. That would be the ultimate low for his character if it ever happened, especially considering the fact that he knows that Tess is looking more and more like Lex as the days go by.

Even though Tess is crushin' on Clark doesn't mean he'll return the feelings. He's been a bit smarter this season so I don't think he'll be going for the Tess.

I have been happy with the way Clark has stood up to Tess. He warned her to not let LuthorCorp affect her like Lex in Plastique, then when she was in Chloe's office he called her on it about sneaking around in MAXIMA, and last week he told her even Lex wouldn't publish that picture and tonight he told her she could fire him. He has finally stepped up! They do have some sparks going, although it is mostly a mind****!

I really enjoy the Clark/Tess scenes, but the vibes are totally one-sided, and they most certainly aren't coming from Clark. Clark seems appropriately cautious and suspicious when it comes to Tess. And Tess seems appropriately curious and attracted. I'd be interested to see more scenes between them, but not in a romantic way. I enjoy the vibe they have going now.

I think they said when they came out about the new characters of Tess and Doomsday before this season that Clark will find it very hard to resist Tess at one point this season.

I don't see him falling for her, either, but I can see her trying hard to seduce him. She seems to think nothing of using sex as a weapon. I really like that he stands up to her, like tonight's go-ahead-and-fire-me challenge.

Its Clark. Tess is using her feminine charm to get the truth about Lex. Lex had his methods for extracting truth even from his friends/close ones.

It's obvious they both know Clark's lying but Clark isn't just going to tell her what he knows.

I noticed how when she said "I can't wait for the day when you realise we're both on the same side..." or w/e it was different from how she handeled that guy in Odyessy who she thought was concealing evidence.

The thing is that although he may not really trust Tess, Clark will have to give her a chance. That's his way right? So that will open the way for some... things.

I'm thinking they will play up the relationship between Clark and Tess, creating a follow-up for the bond between Clark and Lex. Those two started out as brothers and gradually became each other's nemesis. Clark and Tess will definitely not have a sibling-type relationship, but - although it does not have to become romantic - they will somehow have to create some passion between the the two, for drama's sake.

Really interested in seeing where they are going to take this. I'm guessing, they will have to take the foot of the Clois paddle in the second half of the season to avoid having them end up together too soon. Probably Tess will take centre stage from January/February(?).

I like the Tess way approaches Clark. She is always upfront with him about all things Kryptonian. In instinct she showed him the crystal right away and now she told him almost everything. It is entirely different than Lex's wayof dealing with Clark. I like it....

I always felt like she's been attracted to Clark in this season. She just gives off that vibe. I could see them getting together with Clark under the influence of red kryptonite or Tess coming on to Clark very strongly and him trying to resist like when Lois did in "Crimson"

Tess is getting closer and closer to realizing Clark's connection to Lex missing. She matched his footprint to the one at the arctic. She sees right through his excuses and is waiting for the moment when he will start being honest with her.

This is an entirely different approach Lex took because she seems to have the patience to have Clark's secert revealed in it's own time. While Lex obessed over it day in and day out. Tess wants to know what happened between them and why Lex stopped trusting him.

Anyway, I see the attaction she has for him but she is just trying to seduce him slowly to get the information she needs to find Lex.

Yeah, I didn't necessarily read too much into the way she acts with Clark, she has this kind of cold, semi-seductive demeanor with everyone she's trying to manipulate.

That said, it is kind of curious how she has a completely different approach to trying to get information out of him than she seems to with everyone else. Seems plausible that she could have the hots for him, although she strikes as the type who wouldn't let physical attraction effect how she does her job. I like her a lot more than I thought I would too. Dare I say, more than Lex.

I really don't think Clark would go for her, though. He's got really, really high standards for morality and such when it comes to women, and unless he's on Red K (SO many fanfics will be inspired by that potential situation), I really can't see him ever going for Tess.

I wonder if she's capable (anymore) of having the hots for anyone. She seems almost shriveled that way. But I agree that she wouldn't let physical attraction sway her.

I think she knows that Clark and Lex had a close relationship at one time, and also that it went bad. But she doesn't seem to know the substance of Lex's suspicions about Clark.

Putting myself in her shoes, how dare Clark not be cowed by my power and brilliance :) He challenged me to fire him with a smirk on his face, no less. As Tess, I'd be fascinated by that.

I really didn't see anything kind of seduction from Tess. I think the Clark/Tess scenes are disappointing. They could do a lot better, especially since they were both so close to Lex.

I thought Tess was meant to be Clark's love interest for this season? At least that's what the season blurb indicated before it started.
Certainly in the episode Tess first appeared with Clark he showed an interest in her. He rescued her then he was asking in the hospital or maybe it was on the scene 'what happened to the pretty woman with red hair?'

I've been waiting for further developments on that but nothing so far and the way things are going now I'm not sure how it would happen. Clark is very wary of Tess and her quest to learn his secret and what he knows about Lex's disappearance.

All I can think is that Lana comes back and tugs at CK's heart strings again then Tess offers her shoulder to cry on over dinner and somehow they end up drawing closer together. Maybe Tess opens up over her past failed relationships and Oliver.
