Did Chloe feel guilty?

Do you think Chloe felt guilty for not running interference with Jimmy, thus almost exposing Clark's secret. I seemed to think this was why she ended up axing Sebastian in the hospital. She doesn't want his secret exposed. I don't buy the theories that that was Brainiac doing the dirty work. I think it was all Chloe ... protecting Clark.

Good continuity would also be this may have to do with the Abyss episode and Chloe's part in it, but that's all I can really say.

I disagree with you regarding Chloe's level of responsibility in Sebastian's death, but I do think she regretted not taking Clark's concern seriously. She said as much before Jimmy arrived at Isis.

yes i think she felt guilty seeing what his exposure of his secret could do. BUT i totally disagree that chloe did the killing allherself . ch,oe would not do that she knows if clark found out what it would do to him. chloe knows clark would blame himself thinking that if chloe did not know his secret she never would have killed for him and chloe knows that she would not hurt him like that .... never !

she is being influenced by a computer in her brain that has been made known that brainiac has infected her soemhow. so i don't see why or how it would be chloe. this is not NORMAL circumstances so therefore it is not chloe under NORMAL circumstances. Chloe would not kill in the name of Clark kent she knows it would hurt him. there friendship and clarks respect means to much to her . she is influeneced by brainiac period !

Seriously though, I don't think she realized how far she would go to protect Clark, but at the same time I don't think she regretted it.

She had threatened Lana that she would do anything to protect Clark. I don't think even she realized how far she would go until it was done.

its no coincidence that Brainiac is infecting her and suddenly she can kill people, where as before she would never dream of it.

At first I thought it was her, but then I realized that theres no way Chloe Sullivan would kill someone to protect clark unless something wasnt quite right with her. And we know there isnt something right with her because this season she's being infected by a killing machine.

I agree, she underestimated Jimmys' abilities and willingness to persue a story and thus the higher levels of the careerpath as a photographist, which doesn't bode well for their pending marriedlife, and by doing so she put his life in danger and basicaly took the decision out of Clark's hands whether he wanted to share his secret with the world or not, a decesion which by all rights is his own and nobody elses!
She made a mistake, and that wasn't Braniac's effect on her, but her own wrong decision making, and she is allowed to be wrong, albight on rare occasions.
Sebastians murder however, was the resault of her above everything else stronger wish to protect Clark at all costs, guilt and anger at herself over not stopping Jimmy sooner, which allowed Braniac to completly take over, thus dimanteling her sense of right and wrong for that brief, but sadly for murder sufficient, amount of time, and we all know what happened next.... And we all saw the expression of regret which passed her face afterwards.

I don’t think Chloe is in full control at the moment, I small part of her would have definitely wanted to protect Clark but that was all brainiac when she killed him or Chloiac as I like to call her now.

As I have said in other threads this is all Chloe with Brainiac removing her inhibitions. Remember this is the same girl that told Clark if he had to he would have to kill Lex Luthor!!
