I thought that was pretty funny. It just showed Clark that maybe she isn't such a blabbermouth afterall. and it showed how much she really cared for him (as a friend.) In fact i just loved the whole ending.

IDK. I have a hard to believing she kept it quiet just to protect Clark. It's not as if Lois has been adamantly against dragging Clark into potentially dangerous situations in the past. Seemed to me the primary reasons she didn't say anything was 1 - she wanted the story for herself and 2 - it would make Clark jealous.

But maybe her attitude has become more protective now that she knows she "loves" him.
