Between the subplot with "X" and the missing crystal, Jimmy (and now Lois!) searching for the Metropolis hero, Tess forming some kind of Injustice Gang or Suicide Squad, and Chloe's mysterious actions... I can't remember another season that had so many interesting subplots and story arcs that carried over from episode to episode.

Agreed/ This season is by far the best. Every former season, it was "filler", "filler", sorta good, "filler", except for maybe season 6. But this season is crushing all seasons before in terms of amazing plots and character development.

Not to mention Davis! And a holdover from last season: the fate of Kara. I agree that they're really working to open up the possibilities for the rest of the season. I can't wait!

I agree completely. Not only that, but the "A" plots are fitting better with the "B" plots so much as they meld perfectly such as this episode. Very well done by the new PTB.
