Did you like the cape on Oliver tonight? Ok with Clark aside and the fact that Oliver looks better in Green leather but seriously the way he swooped down in the cape man it looked hot. I liked it alot. What did you think?

I'm sorry, but just seeing him on the rooftop, the cape billowing in the wind... I just wanted to shout out, "AWWW HELLS YES, BIOTCHEZ!!!"

The cape didn't work for Oliver, but it was funny as hell watching that gigantic computerized cape flap in the wind. :lol:

No cape. He did look cool wearing a cape and swooping down, because it was nice to see a change. But him actually wearing it 24/7? No thanks.

oliver had to the have the cape for the red whoosh affect....loved it!
its not a green arrow costume...its a ....aerodynamic dynamic affect ;)

Anyway... the cape is Clark's! Hands down Oliver... green leather suits you better ;):D
+... was is just a coincidence Oliver's jet had red, cape-looking-like, drapes that just happened to fall on Clark's back? :D

I think the special effect on the cape was over done. They should of had him wear a real cape during the scene, then added a little special effect when he swooped down to save Jimmy.

The cape just reminded me of Spawn (which looks sweet on him, just not on "Superman-like Hero").

It would have been nice to see a scene where Oliver was in that "Blue Arrow" suit, showing it to Clark before they went to see Jimmy. Clark say there is something missing, that it "needs more red" or something and gets that Warrior Angel cape from "Action". Then Oliver looks at him funny and makes comments about the cape with Clark defending the cape, saying he likes it (kind alike how he said he like the cape but not the mask about his Zorro costume in "Thirst").

Anyways, good episode. This season, especially "Prey" and "Identity", screams Superman!

I saw an interview with Dean Cain and he was talking about what a pain in the behind the cape was, and the directors were always asking "was the capage right? What about the capage? Did we have good capage?" and that he had to do several takes sometimes just because the capage was off. It is probably cheaper, though cheesier to do a CGI cape.

Agreed. I didn't like that Metropolis's first glimpse of a blue suit red cape was Oliver... Though I did like how Clark realized what it could be.
What made me most upset was how Clark said he wouldn't wear a cape in this lifetime. Bad. Bad Bad bad.

yes it was a good change for oliver for this time.

but on a regular basis? not so much. it kind of takes the fun out of superman.

Well, I am used to seeing GA without a cape and it looked kind of weird to me. Capes were never really my thing, even when I was reading Batman or Superman comics, I always wondered if the cape got in their way rather than assisting them (with aerodynamics and stuff).

I believe a costume is way more smoother without a cape. And cooler

I say no for the general costume but capes always look cool... it would get in the way of archery though... I imagine...
