I was proud of Jimmy!!

I agree!!! Jimmy has been hated by me because of the Chimmy situations they put him in, but as an individual character I can totally connect. He wants to be recognized and all, but others are afraid of his reaction and he can't.

I loved Jimmy tonight. There was something very different about him. The way he went after the story and didn't back down may have had something to do with it.
Poor Jimmy he just want to be trusted by Clark.

Jimmy was great tonight! I generally like his character, but tonight he was outstanding. I loved how he promised Clark he could trust him, and how he wouldn't look at Clark differently, I mean, Jimmy was being so sweet.. it was so cute to see. I felt bad though that Chloe had to lie to him, and he felt that he wasn't being trusted by his friend OR fiance.. I wish they could have told him, I felt like he deserved it.

I was impressed when he put it together and figured out it was clark. But then he took it a step further and figured out this is the big "secret" between Chloe/Clark. He was just on it!

Yeah, I agree. Actually, he impressed me last week, too. So, I guess, they've written two good Jimmy episodes in a row.

He's finally starting to look more like Jimmy Oslen of canon... earnest and well-intentioned. I like it.

I really, REALLY enjoyed Jimmy tonight. I liked that he was so determined. I liked that he figured it out. I like that he figured out that this was Chloe's secret with Clark.

But...

I LOVED how he handled finding out the secret. I loved that he said he wouldn't look at Clark any different. I love how he was just so...admiring and...honestly, it was lovely. I also loved at the end, when he thought he'd been wrong, how he went out of his way to explain that it wasn't that hard to picture Clark as the hero because Clark always went out of his way for people.

I loved Jimmy in tonight's episode. I'm having a hard time picking a favorite character this week, but Jimmy's definitely in the running. That's kind of new for me; I'm not used to potentially liking him best in an episode. Particularly an episode where Clark is Supermanly and Lois is wonderfully Loisy. But I gotta give Jimmy props. He kinda stole my heart tonight...lil' guy. Made me nostalgic for some good Jimmy (and Jimmy/Clark friendship) scenes. Hopefully, this'll keep up and we'll get a bunch more!

I think the only moment in this episode I wasnt all that impressed with him was when Lois was kicking major butt against their attacker...and he's laying on the ground! :lol:

But other then that...couldnt ask for better. I hope they keep it up! I really wont miss whiny Jimmy.

ITA with everyone here. He really stepped up. I felt so bad that Chloe had to lie and loved that he totally clicked why Chloe always covers for Clark and was OK with that. He and Clark will be good friends soon.

I choose to believe he was dazed when he was on the ground. He'd probably just hit his head, as these characters tend to do when they indulge in acts so dangerous as brushing their teeth. And at least momentarily dazed is better than unconscious. ;)

I agree about the Jimmy the last 2 episodes, but I still can't get over Kara eye fock. He's so much easier to like when he's not being a dick in Chimmy, but I can't forgive him.

Would also help if he appeared in an episode without Chloe. But that´s the problem. Chloe is in every episode. Jimmy always has a scene with Chloe. Would like to see more Jimmy and Clark, but I know that PS3 said that we won´t really be seeing that.

I think Clark will tell Jimmy who he really is eventually. In the comics they are best buddies. Look for the writers to start making them more chummy.

Two episodes in a row Jimmy was cool. What is the world coming to? The problem is eventually this is going to end because the wedding is coming up and Chloe/Brainiac will drag him back down to a whipering loser.

Its like this show knows what role Jimmy works best in...ambitious DP photographer, and friend/co-worker/sidekick to Clark and Lois. And yet, they keep trying to shoehorn him into a romantic lead, which doesn't work for him at all.

I liked Jimmy last week as well. I think he was very well written in these past 2 episodes. They're doing a great job portraying him as the futurely dubbed Superman's Pal.

Jimmy was wonderful in this episode! I was so impressed with him. He was the only one who put it all together immediately, regarding Clark. But even though he knew he still said that Clark was still the same CK to him.

It makes me miss him even more :(
