UM...
Its been alot of tense scenes lately with her and Clark not seeing eye to eye. Wonder if Chloeiac has something to do with that? Also wonder if for some reason shes trying to assemble the Krytofreaks for something hmm.

I liked the psuedonymn scene, and I liked the scene where Chlark closed ranks against Jimmy, yet again shutting him out.

Okay, I know a lot of you have been stunned by the last scene with Chloe. BUT, that shouldn't stop anyone from expressing their views on the Chlark scenes.
Let's just push Chloiac aside for the sake of discussing Chlark.
I thoroughly enjoyed all things Chlark! Despite promising Jimmy he wouldn't tell a soul, Clark immediately went to Chloe, and her reasons for not deleting the photos were honorable. She did it because she was convinced Clark's identity wasn't at stake, and she was excited about the opportunity to come out of hiding and take on a double identity. Plus, she really emphasized how much the world NEEDS a hero.
I just love it that he is STILL her number one hero!
Then, when he realized Jimmy had put the pieces together, he again went to Chloe. However, this time she backed Clark and protected his secret. Not only that, she physically stood behind Clark (very similar to Justice), as opposed to Jimmy.
After that, Clark, Chloe, and Ollie put their 'throw-him-off-the-trail plan into action. This is loved too! Complete trust between not just the two, but the three. It was very Justice like!
About Chloiac, I'm not going to discuss that here. That NEEDS to stay in the evil Chloe/Chloiac threads.
Anyway, IMO, the Chlark scenes were AWESOME!
The scene where Chloe encourages Clark to take a pseudonym was awesome. "Writers use pen names all the time" was perfect! Chloe did use the pen name "Lois Lane" in "Delete".

Good point about the positioning in the scene. Chloe stood by Clark literally and figuratively against Jimmy. It will always be like this.

They are the worst liars in the world. When backed into a corner they can't come up with anything logical to say to Jimmy.
But it's nice that they both want to protect him. Or in Chloe's case, avoid having to kill him like she did the other guy.

I loved the scenes between Clark and Chloe! I love how they communicate so much even with just their eyes. The pen-name and alias comment had Chlois and the Mythos written all over it. And Chloe is still the first person Clark goes to when he has a problem. :)

The spoilers had said that Chloe was going to refuse to delete the photo, but I was happy to see that wasn't the case.
The Chlark scenes felt like Season 5 to me. Chloe excited by something, enthused (she was almost Reporter!Chloe again), Clark more wary, but influenced by what she was saying. I love how he'll let the things she says percolate.
Then the scene with Jimmy. Chlark really are a team. Even though Chloe thinks Clark should let people know he exists, they were on the same page about keeping his secret away from Jimmy.
Gotta love that. Gotta love the Chlark this ep.

I feel pretty much the same way. They stood as a team against Jimmy and I felt bad for him because they're formiddable when they're together and I loved the season 5 Chlark vibe.

I loved those, but it's all overshadowed by the Brainiac reveal at the end. UGH!

Loved the Chlark in this. Especially the first scene. Pen name, huh?
Chloe trying to encourage him that the people need a hero. I loved when he repeated her words to Ollie.

I have to say that is obvious that their relationship is completely deep, they relay in each others, they care and trust each other and no matter what they always help each other.
As for Chloe/Brainiac it was totally obvious that we where watching Brainiac in the last minutes of the Episode, that line??
"the human mind is simply a highly sophisticated computer"??? Totally Brainiac, and the lack of expression?? Totally Dr. Fine!!!
Also, the moment she realizes what she did?? Oh my heart went to Chloe!!!!!!
This episode the Chlark was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

Totally. When push comes to shove she totally lined up in Clark's corner over her fiance's, which is about the most Chloe I've seen all year. Add in how bright and sunny her pen name scene was and to me it was showing a glimpse of them before Brainiac killed a guy in her body.
What I thought was interesting was Clark didn't get ther soon enough to see her crash the Isis computers, which is probably a way to delay his full Brainiac freak out a bit, yes/yes?

It does feel like Season 5!
What a neat way of putting it "let the things she says percolate". He did. His first reaction is to hide/delete the picture, then he thinks about it and realizes that Chloe's right, as usual.

Yes. The scene also served to foreshadow how Chloiac would take care of Sebastian - a person who steals others' memories. Chloiac overloaded his brain with data. Cool.

I think it's one of the memories he will take away from her in Abyss because he knows just how it will effect her life. Chloe would never kill and it was Brainiac in that last scene, not Chloe. I think Clark will realize that.

My guess is that scene with the computer crashing scene was included because they needed to remind us about Brainiac. Chloe was very much Chloe throughout most the episode, with a lot less OOC behavior than in previous eps (until the end, which is the most OOC we've ever seen her). If we hadn't had that little computer crashing scene we might have forgotten that Chloe even has a Brainiac issue and then the last scene would have made no sense.

That scene was, as you say, a way to remind us that Brainiac is there and a hint that Chloe is definitely not herself in the last scene.
That is their way to make us understand that is Chloiac who makes the kill not Chloe.

The Chlark in this episode was indeed awesome. I loved that first Isis scene too. Talking about aliases and pen names. *sigh* That was great. I did feel sorry for Jimmy that Chlark did lie to him about the secret, but I did love that they work as a great team to keep him off of Clark's trail. lol.

I felt that way, too. Chloe talking about pen names! Wow. And she planted the seed in Clark's mind about coming forward which was great and they worked as a team to get Jimmy off the scent, but I did feel so bad for Jimmy when they excluded him from the secret keeper club. Ollie makes the cut, but Jimmy doesn't. I was sad on Jimmy's behalf.

Clark wasn't ready to listen to her there, but I think what she said enabled him to see how people reacted to Ollie on the roof. If she hadn't said all that I think he would have missed those reactions, and it's really the reactions that got to him and made him start considering Chloe's words.
The show built that nicely.

Yeh, the show did a great job with that. What a great episode this was! :)

I also felt kinda bad for Jimmy. While I understand Chlark's point about not wanting to put Jimmy's life in danger by divulging his secret, the thing is Jimmy finally had an explanation for the weirdness between Chloe and him over Clark, It made everything fall into place for him. It gave him a respect for Clark and a feeling of security and understanding in his relationship with Chloe.
Did they take that into consideration?
By refusing to acknowledge Jimmy's conclusions, Chlark was in a way taking back the peace of mind it gave Jimmy and replacing it once again with jealousy and insecurity, and maybe even some animosity and more suspicion. They are dooming the Climmy relationship to remain one wrought with secrets and lies that will eventually fail because it's not based in reality, just like Clana. :)

I think what I liked about Chlark in Identity was their naturalness. They were wrong, IMO to sideline Jimmy's conclusion, but in Chlark's reactions, he sort of did get a confirmation. They worked pretty seamlessly as partners. I don't blame him for being motivated to get evidence. It was sort of ridiculous for Clark to insist that he wasn normal, when 3/4 of SV high is infected, much less Chloe herself.
I'm not saying telling Jimmy needed to know the alien update, but, he did figure it out, and was very, very cool about it--to everyone involved.

Yes, it is nice to give us a few lights of hope. I really miss that big huge smile and the joy we saw in working together that used to be highlighted so prominently.

I loved their conversations about heroes, and her encouraging him to be a hero, like she always does. I thought it was significant that the fact that Chloe didn't delete the photo wasn't a Chimmy thing or her "He's my fiancé" thing where she was having to prioritize or choose between them. It was more plot-driven than love-triangle, which is always refreshing. Her hesitance at the Ollie/Jimmy/Clark ruse was cute, too. She doesn't want to hit him with her car.
I also think that her line about never going against his wishes with regards to his powers was added so that we would know that it was definitely not her killing Sebastian. I know that Chloe would never think that Clark would want that. Apparently Chloe only had like 5 minutes of screentime but it was all relevant and plot-driven, that's for sure.

I liked the psuedonymn scene, and I liked the scene where Chlark closed ranks against Jimmy, yet again shutting him out.
It was classic, wasn't it? And I'm sure it's no surprise, that I liked the pseudonym scene too. I love how Clark was all a panick and he went to Chloe for help and assurance, not once, but twice.
Also, I saw that Chlark > Chimmy, and I honestly felt bad for the guy.

The scene where Chloe encourages Clark to take a pseudonym was awesome. "Writers use pen names all the time" was perfect! Chloe did use the pen name "Lois Lane" in "Delete".
I think that scene was written to explain a future event myself. A viewer that hasn't watched "Delete" may need context later on. The reminder to "Delete" was nice, but, otherwise, why was the scene necessary. I'm guessing there might be some relevance in the future, thus the exposition.

This isn't really a chlark scene, but when Clark was trying to convince Oliver to help him and Clark said to "do it for Jimmy" because he was just "an innocent bystander who's life would never be the same" AND he said (which caught my attention) "I can't windwipe the people who already know my secret"....which brings my mind straight to Abyss....i think it might be foreshadowing, which really worries me...
Did anyone think that when they heard that? Maybe im just too chloe crazy :\
I did like the Chlark scenes as well.. they were all great, and when Chloe and Clark kind of went up against Jimmy im glad that when jimmy said "you don't trust me" he didn't look at chloe, it was directed towards Clark, which i think shows the trust that Jimmy and Chloe have for each other. it wasn't turned into "chloe and clark are ganging up on me" it was turned around on clark.

I loved that whole scene of It's kind of like what he did in Blue (although not quite as dramatic), when he went to Chloe after Zor-El had stripped him of his powers and beat him up. There's something about Chloe, even when she can't solve his problems, he feels safe around her.

well actually its a mix IMO
The impulse to protect Clark's secret is all chloe Sullivan,
The impulse to kill people is Brainiac.
you mix them both together and we get what happened in the hospital. Its not toally chloe and its not totally brainiac.
Either way its not chloe in her 100% correct state of mind, Its chloe with a cold blooded killer infecting her and her moral fibre.
In the hospital chloe wants desperately to protect clark's secret, and braniac makes it OK for her to kill him in order to do so. She's not killing him for no reason here, she's killing him because he knows clark's secret. Its a mix of her and brainiac. Brainiac has no reason to protect clark. Chloe usually doesnt have the lack of moral fibre to kill someone.

When Sebastian looked into "Chloe's" mind he didn't see any of Chloe's memories (like he saw Tess's memories, Lois' memories or Clark's memories). He saw Brainiac's memories which were all in Kryptonian code because Brainiac is a Kryptonian computer.
If Chloe has been conscious and aware then Sebastian would have seen her memories, but she wasn't there, so he didn't.
In that scene we learn that, at least part of the time, Chloe is Brianiac's secret Identity. (Isn't it neat how it worked into the title of the episode?)

I really enjoyed the Chlark scenes, especially the first one. The spoilers described Chloe as refusing to help Clark but that's not how the scene played out.
Chloe told him that she wanted to speak to him first, which means she cared about his input and how he felt about the situation. Clark was panicking but Chloe was both consoling and encouraging in that scene. She didn't belittle him like Ollie often does by telling him he needs to step up to the plate. Instead, she encouraged him to see how he could use the photo to his advantage, while maintaining his anonymity. It was a very mature discussion and the absence of insults and cutting remarks that are the trademark of other conversations was refreshing.
It was awesome seeing Chloe and Clark stand side by side and supporting one another when Jimmy was determined to discover Clark's secret.
