I went with a 10, because there are no other shows I bother to religiously follow, except for Doctor Who and Sarah Jane Adventures (those are both shows from the UK). However, I still like Smallville more than those shows (though maybe with David announcing his departure, I'll like Doctor Who more .... I never could get into Tennant).

Actually I was doing an exam 2day and smallville crept into my mind at a really odd time...i was very tempted to let my mind float away with it, thank God I didn't!

Gave myself a 10. I would say that I'm obsessed. This is the only show that I HAVE to watch, there is no missing an episode for anything. I have adjusted my schedule at times in the 8 seasons just to be home to watch Smallville. I have every season set 1-7 that I watch all the time (currently started with season 1 and going through in order up to now; now on season 2 episode 13). I don't post a whole lot, but I'm always on this site everyday. I can honestly say that when this show ends, I will probably go into a depressed state for awhile.

I would rate myself a high 9. As high as a 9 can get. I'm not godly when it comes to devotion for Smallville, so I can't give myself a 10.

I have been watching on TV since day one. Some people came into Smallville late by catching up on DVD. I am one of the original fans. I own every season on DVD, and have even doing music videos for the show for 4 plus years. So as a whole, I am about as big a fan of the show as they come.

However, if I were to rate myself, it would be a different number for different periods of the show.

For seasons 1-3 I was a 10. I looked forward to the show every week and was basically obsessed.

For seasons 4-7 I dropped down to a 7 or an 8. I didn't really care for the direction that the show was taking. I mean season four gave us the horrible stones arc with Isobelle, and seasons 5 and 6 became all about Clana and eventually the Clexana triangle. Too many soap opera tactics for me. Season 7 tried to make Clana angst free and more about mythos by introducing Kara. However, as a whole the season wasn't overly impressive.

Season 8 has moved me back up to a 10. I am posting regularly on KSite again and for the first half of the season I was looking forward to each episode more and more. However, after the butchering of the Clana arc over the last 5 episodes, the writers have really set the show back in my opinion.

I've put 10 even though I don't own any swag..because I'm obsessed. I'm sooo excited for find this site's forum! For the last 3 years I would sort of visit the lousy CW boards and try to enhance the conversations into something intelligent..and then give up. I'd heard of Smallville but missed the early years. Luckily we have the Necromancer's Delight otherwise known as Season DVD's!! We saw a season 5 episode and thought it looked good. Hubby immediately borrowed seasons 1-4 or whatever was out at the time from a friend. We huddled in bed and watched every single episode to catch us up to what was current. We had a ball..although hubby lost interest in the really bad seasons..it was way too much Soap Opera for him..but I muddled through hoping it was 'gonna get good soon'.

I've been recording the HDNet episodes which run daily, commercial-free, and without that dagnabbed CW logo.(could it GET any bigger?) They are also in HD so it's awesome. They put on about 3 episodes a day and work through 2 seasons at a time. A bit confusing but i still watch. Of course I also record the Smallville Season 8 episodes and watch them with FF on commercials. I keep the recorded stuff to re-watch later.

All I know is that I want MORE SMALLVILLE and ....there just isn't anything out there to fill that hunger for me. Luckily I found this site today when I was digging around. It's amazing how much better it is than their 'official' board. Why don't they just pay Kryptonsite to BE their official site and get the ads off of here..if they did that it would be perfect!

I am disgusted with the Smallville producers right now. Why isn't there more serious promotion on the show? Why don't they have a serious internet presense like a real website rather than a page on a network site? I mean seriously..there will come a day when there is no CW or it will get changed..and everytime they do that they lose internet presence. aghh..probably preaching to the choir here. I've actually written an entire discertation on THAT subject..maybe someday I'll post it up here.

I gave my self an 9 since I'm not exclusively obsessed with just Smallville. I'm equally obsessed with Supernatural. I'm pretty much obsessed with anything that has little basis in reality.

I started watching with the Season 5 finale / Season 6 premiere, and caught up on all of the earlier seasons before the premiere of 7, I own all the DVDs. Got them all for $20 each at Target!

I don't know what I'm going to do on Thursday nights after Smallville ends. I'll probably just blank out for a whole hour.

I don't think that owning all the stuff is the only way that classifies you as a 10 or obsessed though.I'm a huge fan of the show,I love watching bts stuff and learning how the show is made.I practically read most articles online about the show.I love all the actors,I even go as far to check out most of their other projects,well atleast as many as I can.I've become a huge Kristin Kreuk fan after seeing her on the show.It's my most favorite show on television and will always be.

I absolutely LOVE Smallville, and I do get pretty obsessed with it on occasion, and spend quite a bit of time among my fellow fans here on the boards... but comparatively speaking, when seeing how many posts other posters have put on here, and how much more knowledgeable they are in the Smallville Games section, I'm not NEARLY at that level yet, LOL. I have watched all the seasons as they aired, own all the DVD sets, have the companion books, youth and adult novels, the Smallville comic books and have most of the Smallville magazines. I'll even watch other series just because an actor appeared on Smallville. I'm positive that I can't rate myself a 10, because I don't know every detail about the show like some of the other posters here, but I love this show and plan on watching it to the end whenever that might be. I put down 10 for myself and I too just became a full time fan with Season 9 but I wonder how many other fans watch at least 2 episodes of "Smallville" every night? I do. The first thing I did was go back and watch Seasons 7 and 8 so that I would be more familiar with what's going on right now, then I decided to go back to the beginning and watch the entire series from Season 1. I'm current up to the second half of Season 3 and I'm loving every bit of it. I own every season on DVD, the last season I purchased was Season 4, for some reason it was the most difficult to find.

I thought the killing off of Alicia Baker was dreadful, that Clana dragged on and on and on, and that Davis Bloome was poorly cast. I've said before I was worried that Sam Witwer was so wooden he might spontaneously combust.

The Clois is good...a few relevant episodes doesn't make the show like in the beginning. I agree, the characters grew-up, the show still in the same path: exploring over and over the same story.

also for my bday some of my friends (who are the bestest ever) had a tee made for me with a fan made pic of TW in the supes suit, and i had TW cupcakes.

i'm completely obsessed that i even called hubby clark one morning, and boy was i in the doghouse for while.
