Hmm...we know about her father and who's been cast to play his role but what about her mother?

Does she have a mother. I've never heard mention of her. I assumed that her mother was dead.

Out of those options I'd have to go with Helen Slater. Julianne Moore looks like she could be Carina's mother - anyone agree?

Although I highly doubt that we will ever see Sarah's mother -Chuck's mother would be nice though- I'd like to suggest someone like Jane Seymour, who admittedly is British and looks nothing like Sarah, but I was going with the spy theme.

On TVTrope's wild mass guessing page, someone posted this.

Chuck's mother is either the woman on that shadowy Fulcurm panel, or... General Beckman. Possessive, pushy, keeps trying to sabotage his relationship with Sarah and has cameras in his room. She's My Beloved Smother with the resources to back it up!

That would be something. Although she called a hit on Chuck and had Casey almost carry it out. I doubt if he was her son, she'd call a hit on him.

I'm bumping this because Sarah referenced her mother in an episode this week. That's the second reference this season, which leads me to believe that Sarah's mother will be surfacing soon.

Doesn't Helen Slater look like Linda Hamilton a little ? That would be odd to watch for me anyway.

Agreed. I think they are setting us up for Sarah's mother to return (possibly at or for the wedding?).

As for who should play her, why not have Cheryl Tiegs (sic?) be her Mom. An original Charlie's Angel playing "Sam's" mother? Or Tanya Roberts would also work.

Linda Carter would be great.

Since they didn't go with Jaclyn Smith as Chuck's mom, than why not have her play Sarah's mom? I'd just love to see her on the show in whatever role.

Oh that would be cool. But for some reason I picture Sarah's mother as a blond. Since her Dad is dark haired she had to get that blonde hair from somewhere, right? (course it could be a dye job but she's been blonde since childhood so that would mean she'd been dying it for all her life.)

Jaclyn would probably be the one going blonde...slighty blonde at least. This is what she looks like today:

ah if they lightened her up just a bit then yeah, she could totally pass for Sarah's Mom.

Not really, a lot of people are blonde as children but as they got older their hair darkens. Though still her mom being blonde would probably be preferable.

Do you know I hadn't even thought of ONJ? I could see that, actually.
