I liked the ups and downs of the show. I liked that people kept turning around and playing for another side (or are they). The show really flowed tonight and I am loving this Sylar. He's still sneaky. I wonder if Arthur can read Sylar's thoughts.....hmmm....

Arthur's powerful enuff to read his thoughts and knew he saved Peter. I luv Claire/Elle scene 2nite, absolutely LOVED IT!!

While I liked what I saw, there's just too much going on. It's like every character gets a few scenes at most an episode. Combined with the ridiclulous amount of commercials, it's like the storyline barely progresses with each episode. It sort of leaves a dissatisfied feeling at the end of the hour, which sucks because I love the show!

Really superb episode, it flowed so smooth that I didn't notice it had ended until the dreaded words "To Be Continued...".

The only problem I had with it was the awkward way they had Sylar hanging from a harness, it was way to apparent that he was hanging from something and not held in place.

Rocana, I totally agree with you.

I think when The DVD comes out we'll appreciate it more, with out so much commercials.

I gave an 8 for the same reason as rocana. Episode was great, just dampened by commercials combined with the fact that there was not much story progression.

But it gives way to a sweet episode!

I liked it. They've been playing with my head this year and that's good. I was like "what the heck?!?" in the Hiro killing Ando scene 2 weeks ago and the Knox killing Daphne and Parkman scene this week. But it eventually all made sense. I'm sure they'll keep doing that all year..

I was sad when it was over, I thought it was too short.

that makes for good TV.

The great thing about this show is that no matter how powerful someone gets (ie. Pete, Sylar, Maury) there is always someone better. This thing with Arthur just isn't flying with me. It's like putting Madden on easy and blowing out the Raiders! (sorry Raider fans) Just starting to not be entertaining anymore.

Heroes is starting to piss me off in ways I usually reserve for Smallville.

1) Mohinder + powers? I've been accepting of it...but seriously? If you had told me in season one, I would have slapped you.
2) Sylar quasi good? Awesome. Not. Actually it's pretty stupid.
3) Peter without powers? Fantastic. As if the season two memory loss wasn't bad enough. And they are totally killing his character by making him way to intense and pissy 24/7
4) Niki has triplet sisters, all with powers...no answers on her other personalities, guess she was just nuts after all.
5) Pinehearst? We learned too much about one big bad company, so they threw in a new mysterious one?
6) Many character's powers are are artificial, which when you consider the plot about the human genome project that was driving the story in the first place, IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE! Nathan had to be natural born with his abilities, that's how Mohinder found him, through the genetics of it!

I'm totally calling shenanigans. Here's to hoping Maury did all this nonsense, and we're still in season two, which suddenly doesn't look so bad!

I agree. Wouldn't mind not seeing Parkman or Clare & HRG for a few episodes to be able to have a full show on one story line or two. What they're doing now is like taking your cup at a fountian and putting a little bit of every soda in. Just doesn't work.

Not every character can make a huge progression in an hour. But a fair few did make soooome progress.

I was entertained this whole episode. I'd much rather have plot and character development than two attractive women sharing a scene.

felt like this should have been a 2 hour episode. I know that the writers are trying to piece together the teams and sort out what is going on but there are WAY too many players right now.

I don't want any killed off but in this one episode could have been 2, first half focusing on the characters who don't know arthur and hiro's story line, the second half being the characters currently interacting with arthur like Peter/Gabriel and the 'Speedster' Daphne.

yeah i was entertained because i love the show, i just feel like it was kind of a boring episode for one that makes us wait two weeks to see another new episode.

Seriously? I loved this episode, and thought massive strides were taken for almost every character involved.

Peter turned against his father and came to trust Sylar. Mohinder was forced to join forces with Arthur and became even more desperate and ruthless. Nathan learned that Arthur was alive. Elle and Claire became closer, and the extent to which they were willing to go to rid themselves of their abilities was revealed. Daphne betrayed Matt, who was convinced that he had finally freed her of Pinehearst's grasp.

The only characters that weren't developed were Tracy (she's tied with Nathan's storyline for the moment), Bennet, Meredith (neither of them got enough screentime to do anything), and Hiro (mainly because his storyline is tedious and pointless).

my best friend jerome would have to disagree with u on that. He loves mixing all the pops together the weirdo:p but i think they have so many people (an ensemble cast) to bring in many different people. some like hiro...some hate him, some think that claire is cool and others wish she could die...my point is they can't please everyone but at least the story is shaping up to be a good one for all concerned...well except for adam...he's dead, and possibly maury too:(

I have to disasgree.I actually enjoyed the episode.I loved Sylar,Peter is more awesome without powers,Matt is so powerful, the return's of Elle,Hiro is still funny & sweet,HRG & Meredith,Nathan & Tracy are interesting matches and Arthur is a scary villain.

The "TO BE CONTINUED" line made me...
WANT...
MORE!!!

But more Hiro, more Peter and more Sylar. There's so much in every episode it feels like a soap opera. After 20 minutes only 2 have passed for some characters and than all of a sudden it feels like they're skipping bits. Doesn't make sense. They should try to focus an episode around 3, maximum 4 characters. Like in season 1.

Good ep, I really liked Elle in this and the Elle/Claire interactions, especially on the plane. I've had it with that stupid "vision" stuff in Africa though. So if you eat some slime in Africa suddenly you have the future-painting power? Come on...

I'm not sure how I feel about Arthur (and the actor) so far. The actor's voice/the way he talks sounds so "old man wimpy" (couldn't they find a "tougher", more "mob boss" sounding actor?). He has the look, but not the voice. And what's the deal with him killing everybody left and right? He took out Adam just like that, and then Matt's dad for no good reason (how did he EXPECT him to react? of course he would resist the idea of his own son being murdered). Not the most clever writing. And I'm not quite getting why Arthur doesn't seem to care about anybody at all, even his own family. Why would he have wanted Peter to die in that fall?

Anyway clearly Sylar is playing along with Arthur for now, and I'm guessing Arthur knows that but doesn't care since he's playing Sylar himself. Sylar helped Peter survive the fall in much the same way he himself had survived falls in the past no doubt--with his TK. The question now is whether Sylar really will ultimately join his father, or whether he will turn against him. (Maybe Sylar isn't on anybody's side but his own, and he's playing everybody.)

Interesting how they got rid of the Maya character/actress. And since they scrapped/skipped a whole volume last year, Maya's character being brought in at all now seems like a pointless waste of time.

How exactly is Daphne fooling Matt? The man is a mind reader. It might be that Matt is only pretending to be played by her though, which I hope they're doing. Because otherwise I'm not buying.

And why doesn't anybody just carry a GUN with them in this series? So many "heroes" can be easily stopped/killed if it's not hand-to-hand. I mean what exactly is so dangerous about that "fear power" dude? Matt could have just pulled a gun on him and bam, he's dead. "I feel your fear....it makes me STRONG!" "Well, I have this GUN. It makes me STRONGER."

Once again, good ep.

Nonsense on top of more nonsense...convoluted and all over the place in terms of consistency. But it's still a fun show of course. I agree about Peter, it's a little repetitive. Last season he lost his memory and was basically powerless/useless/a complete idiot for a while because of it, and now Peter is powerless again, and still very much a gullible idiot--but now, he's also an over-spazzing drama queen as you pointed out. Somebody'd better get that man a chill pill, and fast. lol As for the Niki/triplet stuff, definitely stupid. Funny point about the new company, apparently the showrunners believe the more mysteries the better--sometimes they explain things properly (eventually), but sometimes they seem to just forget about things like they never happened and move on to something else. They seem to enjoy developing mysteries and characters only to give them pointless/stupid deaths, as they did with Adam (which I'm still hoping wasn't meant to be a permanent thing). The artificial power arc is not my favorite storyline, everyone having powers left and right, and multiple powers, cheapens it big time. However, personally I'm liking what they're doing with Sylar this year. He's as gray as his name (ie. Gabriel Gray), lol. Of course, he's not the only gray character on this show--they're making many characters seemingly walk both sides of the line.

Heroes is by far my favourite show. This episode only confirms that Heroes deserves rewards for how it just draws you in and makes you impatient for the next show!!

The acting is great, the writing is spot on. Everything is just fab!! Truly the best 'super powered' show ever.

Finally saw the entire episode. I would have to say great move by Matt with the fear guy. I am continuing to care less and less about Hiro's story now. The highlight for me was the Sylar, Arthur and Peter scenes. Definitely interesting. I love how you can't figure out Sylar's next move and what extent Arthur will go to. I vote this episode a 9!

Great episode.I love Sylar,Peter is awesome without powers.Matt & Daphnee make a cute couple.HRG & Meredith's association is very interesting.Elle's return,I was suprised to see a friendship develloping so quickly between those 2.Of course, the glasse of water did the trick.Arthur reminds me of Magneto in X-Men but,way too powerfull. He should overloaded with so much powers inside of him.

I LOVE my Sylar!!! This was a decent episode. I enjoyed the Petrelli part, and Maya leaving. I still say she's carrying little Mohinder. The kid will show up later as the ultimate killing machine of evil I say. Daphne and Matt are semi-interesting. I like Clarie contacting Nathan, that was cool, and slightly unexpected. Claire "saving" Peter was nice too.

African Issac said it was a root of something, poop of an animal and something else. yummyNow we know the true source of everyone's powers....poop. Always has been poop, always will be poop. lol...

The new Heroes slogan should be, or if they make a Heroes t-shirt it should probably say: "Got poop?"

Other tv spot/ad slogans:

"Save the poop, save the world."
"They saved the cheerleader. Now it's time to save the poop."
"Do you, poop? Sylar does. And so does everyone else on Heroes. Heroes on NBC."
"Heroes on NBC. Poop lives here."

Mohinder: Peter, I need your poop.
Peter: Look Mohinder, I don't know what kind of s*** you're into these days, but...
Mohinder: It's not anything like that. I just found out poop is where powers have been hiding, all along. I'd like to eat yours if I may.
Peter: Do you want fries with that?

Yeah, In every Hero there could be... Poop!

Sylar: "I can't resist the Hunger. I need to know ... what the poop tastes like!"

Nah, the poop is just to make it nice and creamy. Like peanutbutter with real chunks of peanut.

Yeah i thought the same thing.

I loved kick-ass Claire at the beginning with her mean expression to Elle. v.sexy lol.

What i'm also loving about this season in general is how when you think there's an ultimate ability that can't be beaten someone comes along and beats them.

Argh I'm sure I posted a review here before. I'm not going to post an indepth thing again, too much time.

To put it simply, Elle is back. This means an automatic 9/10. The only thing that could be better is if Meredith hits the road and Elle and HRG partner up. Or Elle and Sylar. An episode like that= automatic ten for me.

Two criticisms I'd like to address:
The Human Genome Project and the artificial EH's. Angela said that they knew it would work on Nathan because of his genes. So there is a gene that lets the rawer version of the formula work on humans, without danger. Is it that hard to assume that this gene is also carried by the natural Evolved Humans?

The Isaac Bean Dip. It's been in Usutu's family for generations, and Usutu just so happens to have the power that it can temporarily cause. Could it be just an incredibly basic version of the formula, that induces that specific power temporarily, but given enough use will permanently shift the dna?
