When Davis asks her if he's the first person she feels that way about, she says no. Then Davis goes,"Jimmy right?" And again, she goes no.

Who could she have been talking about?

Edit: Just saw that someone had created the same topic. Sorry, searched and thought no one had created this topic. Must have not looked well enough.

Theres a possibility it could have been Davis himself.

Clark of course.

There's only ever been two men in her life. If she's not talking about Jimmy then it's obviously Clark.

Davis asked her if she ever felt that way with anyone before and she said no. So she could not have been referring to Davis. That wouldn't make sense in the context of the conversation.

Her answer highlights the lack of emotional intimacy between her and Jimmy.

She's talking about Clark. Nor is it in "past tense"- timeframe, the context is that she's only felt this type of emotional bond - ONE other time - with Clark.

Agree the "once" meant past...not current. Agree it was about Clark...in the past

I agree that context doesn't put it in the past tense, but I also think that Chlark is anything but easy this year. Every episode I see them adding to the strain.

That's a good point. Clark is definitely feeling the strain since he is so used to having full access to Chloe.

I assumed she was referring to Clark. The dialog had Chloe saying how everything with Davis "was so easy...yeah, easy." Davis asked if she ever felt that way before.

She and Clark had become so close over the past couple of seasons, where they felt they could confide almost anything (except Chloe's meteor power) to each other, I think their relationship also felt very easy to her.
