Clark's police surveilance and Davis' ambulance call outs

I just found Clark's police surveilance and Davis' ambulance call outs slightly odd.

I can get maybe the shop owner pressed some kind of police panic button that triggered the call to the police at the beginning of the episode but then who called in the 'disturbance' of the two youths attacking the young boy?? Did the police pick it up on cctv?

As for Davis, I didn't get how comes he turned up to that incident with Jimmy and the street was deserted - who called the ambulance? You'd think if they'd found someone attacked they would stick around to direct the ambulance to the right place or if they had heard someone being attacked that they would have called the police not an ambulance? How comes no police arrived at the scene when Davis got there?

I was under the impression that the Shadow Killer wanted to take the credit of all of the other serial killings and perhaps in his research might have put two and two together and figured Davis had something to do with it so he himself called in the homicide he just committed in order to trap and attack Davis. I mean I guess that could be reaching for straws but it is how it went through my mind when I watched it the first time.

I think he just passed by the bullies who were after the kid. These kind of threads are starting to get on my nerves but it was good that you had a question and that you asked.

I'll have to watch it again but it sounded like the call came in about some kind of disturbance before Clark helped out the little kid.

I don't think Shadowboy could have figured out that the killer was Davis but it is an interesting thought that maybe he phoned in his own killing so that he could be captured and take the credit for all the murders. Although I guess if he wanted to be captured he would have called the police not for an ambulance.

The other thing I thought was maybe Davis was tuned into the police channel and was following up on their call outs rather than ambulance call outs?

Yah, I don't think that Clark heard about the little boy from the police scanner, I think he just happened to pass by them.

I'm not sure about the Davis thing, I'd have to rewatch it.
