Did anyone used to watch the show In Living Color back in the day when it used to be on FOX?? It was a great show filled with hilarious skits and talented actors. This is when Jim Carrey was at his best, and Kennan Ivory Wayans, David Allan Grier, and Tommy Davidson were all great as well. Season 1 just came out on DVD. Granted season 1 was not the best season, and it seems pretty tame compared to the Chappelle Show. But, back when it first came out in 1990, the show was raw and edgy at that point in time.

I can't wait for the rest of the seasons when we get to see Fire Marshal Bill and the other great skits that are to come later on.

Although I am glad that they put season 1 of In Living Color on DVD, season 1 was definately the weakest season. Sure, there were some great skits. But, all of the classic stuff like Fire Marshal Bill, the Vanilla Ice skit, etc happened after. Hopefully the DVD sales are good enough, and the rest of the show is released.

its my theory that if they relase one season... the "higher ups" have pretty much decided they will relase all the seasons,

for any given show.

I didn't watch the show very often, but my older sister and her husband did. Their daughter, a three-year old at the time, must have watched it too because at that time she always used to say she wanted to be a "fly girl" when she grew up. She's sixteen now, but her style seems to have changed to ballet because she's pretty serious about that.

I know ballet is so different than the dancing the fly girls on that show used to do, but I can't help but think they influenced her to at least start dancing.

Homey the Clown and Fire Marshall Bill were the best. ILC is what Sat. Night Live always wanted to be, but couldn't.
