Does Lois know Clark likes her?!

Mt very first post never mind the first thread. So please dont be too hard. HAHA:)

I've been watching smallville it seems for the most of my life, but only because of this current season have i been really interested. It has to be the best season yet! Doesn't it. Finally registered to kryptonsite after many readings of posts. It is one of the best forums i know.

Ok enough of that guff, about ep 5.

I dont know if anybody else has said or noticed at the end when Lois was exiting the lift, about with that question she posed, 'where would we be if you answered the question' or something like that, i think what Lois was hinting at was she KNOWS that Clark does fancy her or has at least some feelings towards her.

Bare with me here. She says we all know how good a liar you are! That means she knows hes rubbish. If she knows hes rubbish, then by the way she says where would we be means they would be dead because Clark would have lied. Lied trying to hide his feelings for Lois, as he would NEVER admit to liking Lois. Therefore i think Lois is on to him. The look on Clarks face after she says this tells me that hje now knows this too. He always is a bit to slow!!

I don't think lois knows clark likes her; i think she might even be a little bit sad at that prospect. the scene with maxima in my opinion confirms that when she said "even on a good day me and clark can barely stand each other."

it shows that even if she DID like clark, and could stand him, they would still get one each others nerves. which is TOTALLY true, however, those pesky quirks make up lois and clark and make up who they are as an iconic couple

The writers were crafty, because her line left it open. Either of the following would fit. (1) Lois was figuring that he would have answered "yes," she'd get zapped, and they'd get killed. (2) Lois was figuring that he would have answered "yes," she wouldn't get zapped, and they'd have something else to talk about.

i think she was just teasing him. taking the shine off herself. but its possible.

I don't think she knows for sure.It's probably what she was trying to find out with that question.Poor Clark,the look on his face when she told him she took the censor off her finger.So desespointed...Then when she asked...he seem so worried because he didn't know what would really happen.It's the dynamics of this iconic couple...it's called the chase.

I think that as much as Lois deep inside her heart would "love" to have Clark like her as well, she may also think that deep down he doesn't view her the same way, which is a fact that hurts her a lot.

If you noticed in their confession scene, where Clark was asked if he "loves" Lois or not, you could see in Lois's eyes, which by the way was on the brink of falling apart and she was crying, because she honestly thought he would say no, and when you add that she just admitted she loves him, it was all just overwhelming for her.

In a way, I think she thinks that Clark may never get over Lana. But of course we know how the story ends.:D

I don't think she does... I'm pretty sure in Lois land Clark loves Lana 4 ever. Which would explain the snap when he started talking about Lana in Toxic.
