I hope he kills Chloe in a sacrafice to save Jimmy's life. So he really has a huge impact on Smallville seeing that Doomsday is the one that kills Superman, I think killing Chloe would have the same impact on Smallville and push Clark to the point to defeat him.

Really?? Once again I thought the chemistry was amazing. It's obvious he has feelings for her...and vise versa. As much as I hate it, it was a smart move for Chloe to stay away from him for a bit. If she kept seeing him fully aware of his feelings and hers...I would be a bit disappointed in her.

But I loved the Chlavis! Very intense...and Sam (the guy who plays Davis) did an amazing job in his emotional scenes...I really felt for him!

i dont know how i feel about davis in general, but i like chlavis tonight.

i especially like it near the end of the ep when she said she could see him for a while because she could do something that would make her feel guilty (not the exact wording but you get my drift).

i felt the chemisty between them then, but at no other time.

i might have to see that shower scene again to make up mind though.;)

Shared some great scenes. To be honest I feel Chlavis have better chemistry than Chimmy! ;) SW can really pull off some great emotion too!

Also in their last scene they were talking about relationships being easy, right? Chloe says once. I'm sorta confused on what they mean by that... the whole easy part. If anyone can explain, that would be great!

I felt the Chlavis for the first time tonight! It was SOOO much better tonight than the crap they tried to force on us in Plastique. Their chemistry seems real now that they have more of a purpose. Not that you need a purpose to fall in love, but I dunno, a good romance needs obstacles, which I feel like we're getting now. I realized that Davis is a lot more like Clark then I thought. But wheras Clark was always trying to hide away his secrets from Chloe, Davis is completely open to Chloe and wants her help. Chloe was too curious for Clark back when she didn't know his secret; always asking questions, researching his adoption, ect. But Davis is the opposite. I think they are kinda good for each other. (Even down to their evil kryptonian counterparts.)

chemistry was awesome. It was slightly more apparent in Plastique, however, when they were on a more non-emotional talk kind of level. His dialogue was so depressing tonight, that it was hard to feel the chemistry when she's trying to just listen as he's talking about being a serial killer.

I'd like to see more of them just being them as opposed to coming to each other with a problem. But, after Chloe's selfinflicted distancing, let's hope situations out of their control pull them together.

I do like they they've made a Clark-Davis comparison. They are both heroic...but Davis is more open and out there then Clark. I think thats who Chloe was talking about when she mentioned having an easy relationship that wasnt with jimmy. Maybe thats part of the reason she's drawn to Davis...it's easy like it used to be with clark?

I actually like the chemistry here I have to say.
Davis is a sweetheart even though he may be fighting a dark side.
I personally think that Chloe and Davis have a lot more chemistry than Chloe and Jimmy and when I heard her mention how she hasn't felt like someone was so easy to talk to since...(clark)
it was interesting to me, I felt the same. I feel like her and Clark have great chemistry AND Chloe and davis, but gaahhh Jimmy and Chloe are like a grade school couple mehhh? Any opinions?

I love it as well...
Davis is a rare guy on Smallville that doesnt hold back and I love that! There's no BS with him. He likes Chloe, and he made it known. He knows Chloe feels something for him as well...and typical Chloe trying to brush it under the rug. The only difference between the previous times she's done that with other men and now is Davis wont let her get away with it.

One of my favorite parts was when Davis is thanking Chloe for going out on a limb for him when she barely knows him...she says something like "fools rush in, so I must be a fool" And his line back was priceless "And she ruins it with a self depricating comment." Basically saying "way to once again side step me trying to tell you how amazing you are!"

Then when Chloe asks why Davis is confiding all of this in her...and he says "I think you know why."

I dont know, I love that he says things like that.. He's not like Clark or Jimmy in the sense that he doesnt avoid the issue or get nervous and bumble.

He knows what he wants...and thats Chloe. :)

Some guys have a confidence about them...but everything they say sounds like a pickup line, which isnt attractive at all.

Davis...is like you said....just real. He knows how he feels and he expresses those feelings in an honest and genuine way.

He is just a refreshing male perspective for the cast!! :)

I don't have a problem with Davis being a sympathetic figure for the moment.When Doonsday completely takes over him no one will like him.I also believe that Sam does a very good job.I hope that Chloe's affection for Davis being a result of Brainiac turns out to be true.Because the Chloe we knew would never give him the benefit of the doubt so easily

Oh...its going to be very hard! Without a doubt...I already love Davis to death, so seeing him take that turn will be heart breaking. But from a writers stance...it was brilliant! We all had these preconceived notions about Doomdsay before the show began...and the writers took those and stood them on their head.

The concept that not only was Doomsday once in human form....but he was a genuinely good guy....an amazing concept.

But yes...I dont want to watch Davis being destroyed, but I cant help and have a whole new level of respect for the writers and PS3 for deciding to take it down this road. It was just a brilliant idea. Make everyone love him...then tear him apart.

It's also sooo intriguing at the same time. I'm going to be rooting for Davis for the whole time. It just shows that life on Smallville is unfair. Davis is just unlucky enough to have something evil inside of him. We seem him trying to be such a good guy and it's sooo sad.

Anyway I absolutely loved the Chlavis. I loved how honest they were with eachother. And they both seemed to admit that they barely know eachother but it feels so easy for them to trust eachother. I yelled at my TV screen at that moment. What does that tell you Chloe. Just dump Jimmy all ready!

I think the chemistry between Chloe and Davis is awesome. Davis is obviously interested in her, and I think Chloe feels a pull towards Davis, an instant attraction, a spark between them if you will. I think Chloe realizes that, and it scares her because she's convinced herself that Jimmy is her guy. If Davis wasn't Doomsday, I would be rooting for them to get together (obviously, I'm not a Chimmy fan).

And at least, Davis is honest enough to admit it, he has fallen in love and isn't shy to say it, Chloe however is still sticking by her guns, or should I say future marriage into boredom and slowly building dissapointment! They're kind of like a puppy love couple. But put Davis and Chloe together and oh boy, hello hot and sexy adulthood. Jimmy = boy; Davis = man.

Davis will be missed when his ultimate destiny is revealed. And poor Chloe, both of the people who return her interest will turn out to be wrong in the end. Have to bring back George; they didn't have quite the sparkage of Chloe and Davis but Chloe certainly had a wonderful, open smile with him, as well as a much nicer piece of jewelry than what Jimmy was able to give her.

He's the guy Chloe was engaged to in the AU/AR in Apocalypse last season. He may of have two whole minutes of screen time, but even at that, most would prefer him over Jimmy.

I can tell you one thing for sure: I'm more for Chlavis than I am for Chloe/Jimmy (I REFUSE to refer to them as Chl-Chl-Chlimmy. *Sorry, I nearly puked there for a second*). I'm still not sure how I feel about them actually becoming a couple (He is Doomsday after all, and would eventually hurt her.), but I definitely saw something between them in "Prey" and I found myself liking it just a teensy bit. *whispers frantically: ssshh! don't tell anyone!*

There are definite sparks between Chloe and Davis. It was pretty obvious from the first time they met. I mean, Davis' comment that Chloe is "hard to miss," was a total aim at flirtation, and then later on when Chloe was suddenly compelled to tell Davis that she was engaged was clearly because she could feel the chemistry too.

What I feel is so ironic - and perhaps even more devastating - is the fact that Davis has never really been loved before. Now he has found someone who truly cares about him - even if it isn't romantic (yet)- and he is going to become a monster. It's tragic, but makes for such wonderful TV. I am loving season 8.

Davis is assertive, sexy and is acting like he'd actually give Chloe the attention and devotion she deserves. Granted this is because Davis is exhibiting pre- Stalker tendencies, but its still hot.

Chimmy has its cute moments, but if I think about it too long I start yelling about Jimmy's many faults as a boyfriend. He's a nice guy, but he has a wandering eye and the tenacity of a poodle. Actually, a toy poodle may have more tenacity than Jimmy Olsen.

Davis is assertive, sexy and is acting like he'd actually give Chloe the attention and devotion she deserves. Granted this is because Davis is exhibiting pre- Stalker tendencies, but its still hot.

She even backed off from Davis because she realized he was right about there being more to it and has let her true feelings for Clark stay buried just so he could be with Lana and Lana with Clark.

well im a jimmy shipper, so i was really happy when she told him that she shouldn't see him for a while. i was also happy because hes really scary and it would be really dangerous for her to be spending time with DOOMSDAY. Scary things that she isn't looking out for. Even if we want her to be a little more on the edge, lets keep her a little safe, until after this whole braniac thing is over...

Super late in the game, but I was rewatching this episode, and I am having second thoughts about a comment Chloe made. I know the answer it's really obvious, but not really...

Do you remember that last scene- and she says: "with you, everything's so...easy" and he asks if she's ever felt that way with someone before... and she says, once, but it wasn't Jimmy... clearly, she was talking about Clark... right?

It sounds a bit sillly, but I was questioning when it had been easy with Clark? I know now they've reached a whole different level in their relationship - but I never saw the relationship between them as 'easy'.

And again, overall, after watching this whole season again, I can't decide what the writers want us to believe in terms of Chlark.

On the other hand, their friendship flows so easily. Things went practically perfectly for them about 4-5 seasons straight with no major blow-outs or issues between them. Of course, they weren't romantically involved at the time, but it WAS a nice, easy, loving friendship where both of them cared about the other and visited each other non-stop. That's why I think she called the Chlark relationship "easy."
