Why does Peter still have a scar in the future?

I thought it was only supposed to have happened from the first original future they prevented from happening in season 1. So why does he still have the scar?

I don't even remember how he first got it. Please explain.:confused:

No idea why. They never explained how he got it btw.

I think they're just using the scar as a way to differ the 2 peters, it probaly won't happen. Or maybe it could be a side effect of an ability that he gets later on?

Well I thought the answer was going to be on "I Become Death" where future Claire was cutting Peter with a knife, I thought he would get cut across the face, but IDK maybe since in that future they were in then Claire was still chasing Peter trying to kill him so that means Nathan wasn't shot by future Peter YET so then that's probably why Nathan wouldn't be there it stop Claire so she would've cut him across the face! But if not that then it will be revealed soon....HOPEFULLY:)
