Is anyone else wondering where Hiro's sword has gone? That's what made him (in Ando's words) look bad ass.

it did make him look badass dont worry it will return before the last episode in this chapter it never fails hiro always becomes fully badass at the last episode

Didn't Future Hiro have the sword in the first season when he pops in? Or is it safe to assume the Butterfly Effect has taken place and there may no longer be a Future Hiro?

That future hiro will not happen, as that future will never be, the destruction of New York was averted, and as we've seen both last season and this season, other futures are being created and then changed.
