Absorbed Peter's Abilities

Do you think Arthur got all of Peter's powers? I think he just got electricity, like how Peter only got Sylar's Telekinesis at first but then had to learn how to use the base power, I think Arthur will have to do the same thing and learn to be empathic.

Well I doubt he knows what all of Peter's powers are, so yeah he will have to learn and discover them. Right now he only knows of peter's electrical power and the fact that he can absorb other powers.

But then again its hard to say cause we haven't fully figured out Arthur's ability.

I think dear old dad absorbed ALL of Peter's abilities.
I don't think his absorption power is selective, he takes it all.
But I agree that he will have to learn to develop any abilities he doesn't already posess.

It's was sure a powerful demonstration to everyone else standing there...they're not likely to go against anything Arthur says out of fear that he will do the same to them.

According to both of the alternate futures we've seen, Peter has powers, so it seems apparent that he reacquires at least some of his abilities at some point.
That leads me to think that he may still have the power to acquire abilities, but he's lost everything he'd gained up to this point.

I kinda thought that his ability was Lifeforce absorbing but I'm not quite sure. We'll see how long Arthur keeps Peter's powers.....

Maybe Petrelli is like the godfather of villains or something? Parkman knows what Petrelli is capable of and if he's scared then Papa must be a bad man!

He must be like the parasite, from the superman books. He absorbs abilities, but only for a short period of time. That has to explain his previously jacked up condition. We may see Peter get his abilities back, but adam is toast, unless he's plucked from the past.

So wait a minute, if Arty had powers all along pete already would have his power as he had Ma's power first. He would have absorbed it. Now Art can "know how it all works" per Sylar, can take powers without "touch" via Pete.....
But if Pete had his power from the start...hmmm...but if Art didn't take the "original empath power" Pete would have taken the powers back plus his dads right away!

Now who give pete the scar? If he was scarred while not having powers and the tissue was "dead" it would not heal. it only heals fresh wounds?

Arthur P, has all of Peter's Powers. ALL.
including Sylar's.

so i think he will automatically know how to use ALL of the powers.
Also, i think it was he, that went into Angela's mind either by himself or with the assistance of Maury.
Pa Patrelli appears to be a 'Rogue' type, but with concious control.
Maybe he can choose if the power grab is perm (maybe Pete will get powers back after time i mean how do u switch off something that ur born with - what is he a reverse Jesus making the sightful blind in the desert; but then again Adam is dust) or if he can just add to his own, as Maury still has his power.
