Clark and his bracing moment this past week on smallville. When Lois said that she did love him clark braced himself for the electrocution and to his surprise she told the truth. I guess Clark really is blind to the feelings of those around him but his face was just too good and i had to say something:D

I didn't quite care for it. I don't know why. It seemed to exaggerated, like a way to make it very obvious for the viewers the fact that Clark would have expected a different answer.

It was acted out well, I just didn't really like it.

Lol, I loved that scene too, very nicely done by TW, I don't think he overdid it, because I actually didn't catch it the first time I watched the ep, then again I was watching on a tiny tv. It was just a little "bracing" movement followed by a look at the zapper, and then finally at Lois.

ED had that scene though!

Out of curiosity since I've seen it a few times now, what does "BDA" stand for?

I agree. He's getting very mixed signals from her, but for the most part Lois tends to make a point about how she doesn't have anything more than purely platonic feelings for Clark. When he heard the Yes, I felt it was totally natural for him to think 'Oh crap, this is gonna hurt'. I would be doing the same thing too!

That really was one great scene from both of them. TW bracing for the shock, to his realization she said she loved him, to his total wack out about not knowing what his answer should be, to her loving eyes, and trying not to let their eyes meet. Wow it was great. Best scene of the eppy IMO.
