She needs to be evicted. Why is she living there? And was that Lex's bedroom she and Ollie were in? I was joking when I previously asked if she was sleeping in Lex's bed, but if she is then this is ridiculous.

If Steve Jobs got lost in the Antarctic tomorrow, whoever took over Apple Computers wouldn't have the right to move into his private house and sleep in his private bed!!!

What are the writers thinking? Couldn't they give her a place in Metropolis? And that's another thing. Why is she even living in Smallville? It's doesn't make sense to base herself there when her work is at the DP.

If Lex comes back, I hope he kills her.

the writers/producers are thinking "Gee wiz, it sure would be a lot of work and money to build an apartment set for her to live in, so we'll just put her in lex's house and hope no one notices."

their original idea was to move her into the talon. but then they realized half of smallville was already living in that tiny one room apartment.

I'm not sure if it was Lex's bed, but if Tess has any tact and half as much respect for Lex as she claims to have, then she probably was not in his bed.

As for her living in his mansion... I can buy it. For all we know, Lex entrusted her with the oversight of everything he owns, so it would make sense that she live there (technically, it's hers, now).

Lex doesn't have much family to depend on. His wife divorced him, his Father was thrown out of a window, his Mother has long passed away, he doesn't trust Clark anymore, Lex doesn't have any friends (aside from Mercy, apparently), and if Lex still has siblings somewhere out there, he isn't in contact with them. Thus, having Tess Mercer at the Luthor Mansion does not bother me.

She took over the business, she doesn't need to live in his house to run LexCorp. If she's been named the executor of his personal estate, surely it breaks all kinds of ethical, (and possibly legal), lines to LIVE in the house of the estate you are presiding over.

But even if he did give her access to the mansion, he then must have also given he access to his other properties. Like maybe an apartment in Metropolis. Why is she choosing to live in Smallville? Can't she stay at one of his penthouses in the city? It doesn't make sense.

I don't like her living there. Apart from it being very contrived and unimaginative of the writers to do this, it's weird.

I agree, despite GA always being bitter and angry when it comes to Lex. I wouldn't have thought he'd want to sleep with Tess in Lex's bed. And Tess herself should know better. She claims to respect Lex blah blah, and yet she's sleeping with his enemy in his bed.

Yeah, it's obviously being done to save money. I didn't know they orginally wanted her in the Talon. That idea doesn't even make sense. I guess everyone in Kansas wants to live at the Talon.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one wondering this.

Because it's weird. I mean, why is Tess living in Lex's house? It makes no sense. And it's kind of creepy...

I don't understand why things like this are a big deal. Its not. Who cares if she is living in the mansion. It makes SENSE to me though because his work, his entire staff, his security and all are at the mansion. Why would she not stay there and oversee this as the acting CEO?? Either way its not a big deal. Just something else to knit pick at I guess. Also its a mansion, he has enough beds that she is not using his. c'mon.

I was also wondering this. Is there an agreement that says whoever runs LuthorCorp will live in the Luthor mansion? Like US presidents living in the White House? Weird.

If something happens to Lex shouldn't Lucas Luthor have a share in the family estate?

I think Lex just wanted to make absolutely sure the plants were watered and the fish were fed.

I think we're all supposed to forget that Lucas ever existed.

If I was Ollie, I'd nail Tess in Lex's bed.

That way when Lex comes back he can say "Yeah, while the woman you trusted with everything was supposed to be looking for you, she was getting nailed by one of your worst enemies. In your own bed." Preferably he would say this over the phone, late at night while Lex was trying to sleep in said bed.

TOTALLY!!!! agree, so anyways, just spitballing here. the house was moved over stone by stone, from scotland, something metioned in the pilot, and not expanded til second to last episode in season 7, with tat being a pressident(spellcheck) I believe in her mind to find Lex she must think like lex, to think like lex, live like lex. in cluding screwing her enemies(lex didn't this litterally) so I think thats why she's there and there will be a clue in the house as to where she is, secret room with Gps on him or something, a way to call him on his shoe phone, something
