Jimmy (Like/Disliked, When he got shot)

Okay, I've never liked SV Jimmy. I love Superman (Reeve) Jimmy. I loved (both of) Lois & Clark Jimmy(s). I didn't mind Returns Jimmy. I can't stand SV Jimmy! I don't think AA is a bad actor, I've seen him on Veronica Mars and thought he did a nice job. However, I can't stand him on Smallville and therefore, in turn, I despise the Chimmy relationship.

Whenever I read the boards people seem pro Jimmy and pro Chimmy however whenever I talk to people they seem to share my opinion. So here's the poll to help me get to the bottom.

What brought my sudden desire to find this out? In the Committed teaser, when Chloe got shot with the stun gun at the start I said "Oh my God!" inside my head and was worried. AM's facial reaction was perfect. When Jimmy got shot I said "Haha, you idiot!" inside my head because his expression was comical to me and I got some satisfaction out of seeing him get shot. So, hence my need to see what other people think about him.

I can't stand the character of Jimmy in Smallville, he seems always so stupid ! I really dont' understand why the writers don't give him opportunities to be different, to be the man Chloe deserves. She is really brilliant and Jimmy is just there we don't know exactly why except to say "I don't deserve you"...At least, he is very objective lol !

If I'd stayed completely spoiler free, I may have thought they were dead... that would have been interesting. I wouldn't have laughed then.

I like Jimmy and Chimmy. and it was funny when they got shot, just something about their expressions also they way jimmy looked at Chloe then got shot himself was funny, but I still love Jimmy and Chimmy.

Chloe's expression was very sad and I got worried. But then Jimmy's stupid, over-dramatic and not even painful-looking expression just made me laugh. Took any seriousness the scene had until now and threw it out the window.
