It was the scene in the beginning I think..Lois says something like (I can't remember verbatim) "Chloe is marrying the first guy who's shown her any interest...Present company excluded, of course' meaning Clark and the present company...

Not the exact wording but it's the same idea :)

Yeah I had my doubts about the spoiler when ED refuted it in one of her interviews.. :/

I'm sorry you were disappointed :(

They usually do that. Give hope and then RIP it away while laughing hysterically.

just like the episode description which i think was deliberately misleading.
again...remember the one episode where it said where kara teachs clark to fly? that is just WRONG.
basically you cant believe all of the episode description cus they lie.

While I was very happy with all the ship stuff in this episode, for all those Chlarkers that need some support, here is my sunken ship motto: B.L.T.D. - Better Living Through Denial. Just avoid using it infront of people who will correct you

thx, that's very sweet. I told myself not to watch the spoilers this season, but I couldn't help myself. My own fault I guess . :(

Just keep telling yourself that its the beginning of the season.
We have like, 17 epis left. I mean there is still hope. After all things can
always get worse. Uh oh. I had to open my big mouth, didn't I. lol

It could be that there was far more there in an early draft of the script, and it ended up getting edited out over time. There was definitely nothing in this episode that I would construe as Lois being a pro-Chlarker.

If it did get edited out, I'm very glad. There was no way for that to play well.

Well, its the second time Chlarkers get busted this season with spoiler, I remember a nother spoiler that said that Clark would show regret about loosing Chloe in regards to the fever letter and I didnt see that, now this... Im thinking those spoilers were based on the subjective interpretation of who ever got them (i dont remember, if it was ausellio or matt or kristine)

So it was a filler? Thank heavens the TV was off.

All I can come up with is when she made the present company excluded line, as if, at some point there was a Chlark, ie, Clark was the first guy to show her any attention, but she went with Jimmy instead. It's a weak case. I really was expecting something along the lines of, "I think she likes you, Clark, and you should go for it before she marries someone else."<!-- / message -->

If that was the case, I wonder if Craig (who whoever was compiling the Spoilers entry for this episode) got fooled. I only mention this because after the interviews with Erica that suggested that Lois wasn't going to be supporting a Chlark pairing, there was a further update added to the spoilers page (now deleted, of course). I can't remember the exact wording, but it was along the lines of "Interviews with Erica suggest that Lois is no longer a Chlarker. We say, watch the episode and see what you think" (if anybody still has the original wording, maybe they can confirm how close I am). Therefore, I can understand why the OP (and others who read this spoiler) would be left asking "where did the Chlark support go?", even though the tone of previous episodes and cast interviews made it appear increasingly unlikely.

Agreed.

And we still have to watch "Abbyss"...:( I was really excited about Abbyss though...but since everything they tell you is a lie, I gave up hope.

Well, ED confirmed in an interview that the Chlark support wasnt really happening- just like the kiss was cut out.
