The future of Clois?

I do wonder how a Clois relationship will pan out if the writers want to take it there. I mean we all know that when Lois is with someone she doesn't just want to hold hands. She likes her coitus without any interuptus so to speak ha ha ha!
And we all know that Clark has 'performance anxiety' when it comes to coitus with ladies of the non-superpowered variety so that could be an issue. Which is why if they are going to push any relationship in Smallville they will have to make it between Lois and Superman as at least she will know he is superpowered and will understand his coitus issues. If they are sticking with mythos then Lois can't know that Clark has superpowers so there is going to be problems in the relationship when Clark keeps ducking out when things heat up between them. Unless they make the whole human-kryptonian sex thing no longer an issue for Clark.

Clark can control himself. He is able to have sex. It might take a little practice though, which is why he can always use some Blue K while getting jiggy with it.

I'd be really surprised if coitus was even an option this season. I think the writers are going to take their time with it, if at all.

I agree with susangail.They are taking their time and rightfully so.When Lois said yes in the torture scene i liked it but at the same time i wondered what it meant for the future.Thankfully,the dialogue at the elevator brought things back to a normal pace but with an added twist:Lois knows how she feels.I predict that from here on then the season will be about Lois exploring those feelings and maybe towards the end filling Clark in on them

It's kind of difficult.Lois and Clark can't work as a couple as long as he isn't superman.In most cases they become a couple once she finds out he is superman.I don't see this happening this season.They did well by bringing her feelings into the surface but i don't know how much it can advace now.I wouldn't rule out a kiss though

I agree that the writers will probably take it slow. I don't think we'll ever see a full-on romantic relationship between the two- it'll still be a lot of bantering between the two, but with the added element that they find themselves drawn to each others company more and more often. Lois will probably still find herself thinking how she could even fall for someone like clark and will resist the possibility of it happening. As for Clark, I think he doesn't view Lois saying she loves him as in a romantic way... just more that she doesn't think he's a total dweeb and is an actual great guy deep down. (which is why i think he's wasn't phased by last week's 'jealous' lois, or this week's drunk-dialing lois admitting Clark's a sweet boy).

that's what I think so too. They can't have Clois without Superman yet, but at least we can see the possibility now...

If they aren't going to realise Clois this season then I would like to see Clark with some other love interests. The poor guy hasn't really had much luck with anyone so far. Two of them died, one of them dumped him before it got off the ground (Chloe), and the love of his life Lana left him.

Lois has had a fair few lovers - although by the sounds of it they all ran away from her ha ha ha. I think Clark needs to have some more girlfriends so they are on the same level.
