View Full Version : The Chlo-Lo is back!!! :)
Since my brain is still fried from Clois over-load, I'm going to squeal about the awesome Chlo-Lo.
First of all, she's the maid of honor!!! YAY!!
Secondly, she didn't want to tell Chloe how she felt, but Lois is so scared that Chloe is going to get hurt like she and Lana did -- she's afraid that Chloe will have to go through that.
And, she's so sorry about the speech she gives... and then that leads to her being happy for Chloe and she gives Jimmy a HUG for Chloe!!
Also, random, but I loved how Chloe teased her about crashing Lana's engagment party and says that Lois should start skipping engagement parties. I loved the banter between them...
And Chloe calls her the best big 'cuz EVER!!!
And Lois drunk-dialed CHLOE ...
And Lois was sooo worried about Chloe, she was almost in tears. Plus, she was going to a dress fitting with Chloe....

I was worried at the beginning of the episode...
While Lois was watching out for Chloe, it was obvious she was jealous too...and I had an internal groan at that one.
But they are definitely back! I loved their talk at the end!!! So Chlo-Lo! :)

Yeah, the whole episode was amazing. I wasn't even that excited for this episode but now it ranks as one of my favorites.

Man, I'm SO glad. Stories of when they were little girls, Lois drunk-dialing Chloe, actually letting them have a scene together, they still call each other "cuz"... I love these two, so much. :)
And another thing I realized... when Clark finds Lois - she's all beat up and groggy & all she can do is worry about Chloe!!
That is so sweet!!!

I think it actually could, but there's no denying that Committed was 100% awesome.
We had the return of family, paying attention to chosen families and biological families.

I've really missed Chloe/Lois scenes of substance. The actresses are so good together, why did they stop writing them? I hope this is the first of many more to come this season.

I know. And it made sense, too, didn't it? I mean, that Chloe is getting married and that Lois is her maid of honor... and that they have to dress fittings. Also, that Lois has strong feelings about Chloe's marriage and that Chloe cares about her opinion.
I hope that this is not a one-hoc thing and that we have more to come.

The Chlo-Lo was truly awesome. My favorite part is that Lois is 'Maid Of Honor' instead of Lana.
It almost makes up for Gabe not being the one to give Chloe away.

That was my favorite part too. I was ready to be so mad when Lana was given that title, I had a good time tonight.
Anyone else think Jimmy will make Clark his best man? He already seemed like it, giving the toast and sticking with the Maid of Honor at the party.
I'm glad that Lois and Chloe made up at the end and Lois decided "Jimmy, you ain't so bad."

I think so . . . that's so weird given that it is typically a father's position, but I don't think there are any rules against it. And I can't see Jimmy picking someone else and he wants Chloe happy and Chloe'd be happy with Clark as Jimmy's Best Man, I think.

This was great. I have so missed the great Chlo-Lo. Those two together really brought out the type of sibling action that we haven't had on the show and I really missed it. I'm so glad it's back and I hope they keep it around for the rest of the season.

I think the Chloe-Lo is the only thing i really liked about this episode (other then oliver in the jewelery store which cracked me up).

Yeah, I loved that, too. I think that sometimes we forget (and the characters definitely do) that Chloe and Lois have known each other since they were little girls. That was a very cute speech and I loved the way Chloe's face lit up when Lois clambored onto the chair to give it... she was so happy her cousin was going to speak... and, then, the childhood reference made her happier... and, then, there was a, "wtf??" face when Lois said, "Just goes to show that you can't take a 10 year old at their word". Chloe so didn't expect Lois to do that and it showed....
And, then, at the end we have Lois taking accountability for her actions and apologizing to Chloe. When Chloe tries to brush it off, with a grin, Lois insists that it's not okay. I loved how mature and caring they were to each other. Their love for each other really shined through.
And, you know what? It's important to see scenes like this! We've always known that these two girls love each other a lot - I mean, Lois came barreling into Smallville BECAUSE of Chloe. She wanted to hunt down Chloe's killer. And, then, Chloe's healing power manifested itself BECAUSE of Lois.
That's a deep bond... but we'd like to see it on occasions when they're both alive and not in danger, too. LOL ... Seeing the lighter side of that bond was something we haven't gotten to see since S4.
So, yay to the Chlo-Lo!!!

Well... this was the same thing. Except, now, she has to be sensitive to how Chloe feels about Jimmy.
That's why it took Lois being completely plastered to get her to admit how she felt about Chimmy.

I loved the Chlo-Lo in this. I just love drunk Lois she's the best. I think that drunk Lois had a lot of valid points about Chloe marrying the first guy who paid attention to her. When she was doing that me and my sister were like you go Lois. Even though she embarassed Chloe and Jimmy I think it needed to be said.

I agree completely. I am happy for the Ch-Lo, it has been missing from the screen for a while. The only time we have seen them together has been in passing.
In Artic, Lois is leaving the Kent Farm as Chloe is arriving to talk to Clark about super-secret Kryptonian business. Chloe cannot ask Lois to stay, since Lois is not in on the secret. So they just pass each other, like ships in the night.
This was a nice change, seeing the bond we know to be there.:)

Love the Chlo-Lo...I've been having a rush of Clois which is great. I think I fainted half way thru committed after the Yes scene from Lois. And I needed the Chlo-Lo moment to get me out of the tachycardiac moments of Clois! Happy for Chlo-Lo it stablized me, but unfortunately I went into V-fib during the elevator scene...*sigh*:lol: Did any one else have to be hospitalized?:lol:

Totally agree, they were all cool things to throw in.
As a matter of fact, the story of Chlo-Lo when they were little is actually the first specific story we've gotten of their childhood interaction.
But yeah, I've loved the Chlo-Lo since S4. Last season only had Chlo-Lo in "Gemini" I think. Glad it's back. :)

It feels like it's slowly getting there.
I mean it takes time, after the destruction of it by AlMiles, what did you expect? For it to all of a sudden come back.

I missed the chlo-lo. I love Lois' speech on their childhood. When Lois was in the dungeon -- She still think about Chloe. Chlo-lo in the end was superb. Lois was being really sorry and serious for ruining Chloe's night.
I think everything about Chlo-lo in this episode were great and really show how much Lois Lane really loves her cousin.
I watched Chlo-lo over and over -- I tried to see what's off with those scenes but I didn't see anything weird or off. It's been ages since we see Chlo-lo actually had a little heart-to-heart onscreen and this time, these two shows a bit more maturity in their conversation.
Chlo-lo is one of the best thing I always looking forward to -- aside from Clois :p

I'm glad to have them back as best cousins in the world.Lois's excuse for her behavior at the engament's party was very touching.May be the feeling that some people have is she was extremelly embarrassed about ruining her coz's special event.I think she was too emotional for what the scene meant.That's why it sounds weird to me.I got the same feeling when I was watching the scene again...I like the hug that gave to Jimmy too.

I'm happy to see such wonderful Chlo-Lo also. The best thing was the conversation in the end. Chloe teased Lois and then she was so gentle and caring when she asked Lois to open up about her feelings. ;D
