As of any season prior, probably Lana because she is so damn sex with those beautiful eyes. However I've always been a fan of Lois. Damn, Chloe is so cute though... I'd do them all! Smallville has the hottest girls on TV.

I just wish all of the board members could be as mature as you...it seems some shippers will always been drawn to battle.

But I completely agree...all the women are lovely in their own ways. Clark was lucky to have Lana as his first love....Chloe as the one who got away (yes...let me dream) and Lois as his future. :)

All the girls are lovely, and he'll be with them in one way or another for the rest of his life. Lana was his first love and, I believe, the two of them will move into friendship now and stay close for the rest of their lives. Chloe is his best friend and confidante, and they have a closeness that is not going to go away. As she's said (I'm sure, recently) she'll always care for him no matter what (what they have she'll never have with anyone else, or something like that she's said), and I'm sure he'll always care for her. And Lois and Clark are, of course, moving closer romantically and she's the woman he'll love romantically for as long as he lives.

But he'll love them all - in different ways, mind, but love them nevertheless - for his whole life, IMO.

I understand what you're saying...but Clark and Lana started to grow apart before she left. They're relationship was so strained that it became difficult IMO to watch. I think Clark was starting to out grow his fixation with Lana and she was out growing hers with him as well. I believe that Clark and Lana were starting to fall out of love but were still trying to make things work. I think that if Lana was still part of the show they would have broken up because of their constant problems. I also believe that Clark was not ready to admit the direction in which the relationship was headed. I know many people don't like the way Lana left but it was a way for them to break up with the essence of love still there. It was her letting him go without the break up strife that could have been if the relationship continued. Like I said...they were just drifting too far apart. It just wasn't meant to be. I'm a dual shipper I like Chlark and Clois..but even I have to admit that Chlark is not going to happen because it's not meant to be..it hurts but it's true :(.

I know a lot of people believe that. I think Clark and Lana were actually making there way around to being okay again. They overcame the last obstacle. Lana said there were no more lies and there would be no more lies. A lot of people believe it was not meant to be because of mythos, but if this were any other show and the writers were not bound to follow cannon, this would be the couple that got together in the end. It's classic. Towards the latter part of Season 7, they weren't having anymore problems. We didn't get to see how they would have progressed because she got zapped by Brainiac, but I don't think they were going to break up. Chloe even made a comment in one of the episodes where she says "I thought you and Lana were doing well again" and Clark says "we are." Clark was committed. Lana was committed and they both seemed very much in love despite everything. I believe the only reason it ended was because she left. Then again if she hadn't, I don't know where the show would have gone. They would have had to just get married and that would be the end of SV, because there was no more storyline after that. They'd overcome all obstacles, so it was a dead end for the writers. Anyway, I know we may disagree on this, but I still enjoyed your post. I guess we'll never know what would have happened...or maybe we will when a certain young woman with the initials LL makes a reappearance this season. All in all, I think Clark would always choose Lana no matter what, because he always has. Lucky her.
