I say that scene should be the funniest scene in this season and the confessing scene should be the most heart-felt momentary scene of the season ...I was so eager to know what Clark would say when the manic guy asked him that question...but prolly he'd say he has some feelings but not to an extent of loving him.

The awkwardness was sooooo good to watch. Clark and Lois being found out they were playing at being a couple by Ollie. Loved the look on all their faces. A real laughable moment...LOL

They cut out the kiss and replace it in the scene where Lana comes back. The first thing we see with her is that she see's Lois and Clark kissing!

I bet her reactions would be worst than wut we've seen from her "goodbye" video, her big teary eyes w/ that innocent smile, she'll be like why did I leave him in the first place.

I thought it was funny how Ollie looked like he didn't believe them and Clark looked like he wanted to be any where else but there. I think she did that to make Ollie jealous. She still feels breaking up with him is a mistake.

Oliver already saw lois' lack of class when she attended a cocktail party with him. Now all Chloe needs to do is show him the recording of lois' performance at her engagement party and Oliver will be confirmed in his knowledge that whatever she has to offer, he can get better easily.

What did u guys think about the scene between them three? :lol:It was HI-LA-RIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it was funny, but I think there was no need for it. But... I think the hole Lollie relationship will come up again... this time with Tollie. I think that Lois and Olliver will become good friends, but Lois will become suspicious of Tess's actions and may want to protect Olliver from her, or vise versa. Ollier maybe using Tess as a way to finding out more information about Luthor Crop's actions, and will warn Lois to stay clear of Tess.

LovelyLoisLane
10-16-2008, 08:58 PM
I don't Oliver was jealous, more just like shell-shocked, after at first thinking it was a joke. There was awkwardness between all three of them too.

Lois was over-eager to explain things.
Clark was not very convincing trying to follow her lead.
Oliver was stunned.

lol. It made me giggle, and I'm a Lolliepopper.

I thought this was a very funny scene, and so well acted by all 3 actors. My feelings about Oliver and Lois are that they are pretty typical ex's that broke up for reasons other then falling out of love. There is going to be some awkwardness and tension there for a while, but I don't either character would go back to the relationship. Truth be told, I find it a lot more believable when there are some residual feelings, as opposed to acting as though its all done and over. Romantic break-ups are rarely that cut and dry.

I think you must be projecting your own feelings toward Lois onto Oliver because I've yet to see him embarrassed by anything Lois has done. As a matter of fact, I think he admires her for not dealing in BS. He didn't break up with her because of anything she had done, but because of what he was doing and becoming. Ollie cared enough for Lois to let her go.

As for her actions at Chloe's engagement party, I think her behavior is how PS3 is voicing the average fan's thoughts. Chimmy is lovely and sweet, but it isn't going to last. Jimmy isn't Chloe's Soulmate. Clark can't voice this or it will seem as if he is interested in Chloe. Chloe has to be shown as totally into Jimmy or people will continue trying to pair her with Clark. Lois is pretty much the only close character that can diss this relationship and not be accused of jealousy.

...So while drunken Lois may not be classy, she sure is funny. LOL! I will gladly watch several more seasons like this versus a much more dignified PC show.

Very true and I think that is part of the reason Ollie wound up in bed with Tess, not all of the reason though, and ouch, he got stung on that one.

But I don't see them as getting back together nor would I want them too.

But I also don't think it is realistic to have couple that was in love the way there were, and yes I'm a Lolliepopper, to just not have anything left. It doesn't work that way in real life.

I know.

But this scene wasn't angsty, which was good, it made me giggle, though I did wince when Ollie first walked into the store.

It had a comedic awkwardness to it.

Ollie was clearly hurt and he went straight to Tess. Lois told Chloe at the end that she still thinks she made the biggest mistake by dumping Oliver so she does still care.

Did it seem that maybe Ollie had been drinking prior to this scene? His entrance seemed odd, almost as if he stumbled into the store, he finished out Toxic basically wasted and Tess made the crack about his drinking this episode. Aside from the entrance JH seemed to play it fairly straight so I don't know.

Now are they going to tell Oliver it was fake before or after he sends them an engagement gift?

Clark: Lois I think we have a problem....

Ok....what you are watching? she never says that she says that Clark and Lana went south and she and Ollie felt apart, and she saw things that she wanted sweep away and she doesn't want Chloe to have the same heartache.

She never says she "she still thinks she made the biggest mistake by dumping Oliver so she does still care"

Are you mixing Toxic with this?

And Oliver already had a date with Tess since the beginning he was there to buy her a bracelet, Oliver already moved on. I doubt that he feel that way about Lois flirting and buying jewelry for other women

I loved when Oliver laughed, it reminded me of when Oliver first met Clark and told him he wasn't how Lois described him. If you all remember he made a note about feelings Clark might have for Lois then too. I don't think Oliver will be surprised to find out they have feelings for each other down the road, but he was certainly surprised that they said they were getting married. That is a big deal espcially for two people who were not even going out.

I agree with Badtoad that Oliver/Lois still have some feelings for each other but this scene was just more about confusion and not jealousy. I hope they mention it in another episode between Oliver and Clark.

At first I thought some sort of look between Clark and Ollie would convey, "...hey, Dude, we're working on a case, play along with us..." but then when it just turned into comedic awkwardness, it turned into genius. Definitely the fun scene worth remembering; helps to lighten the mood of Jimmy and Chloe being electrocuted earlier on!

It was pretty funny scene, but I think it was pretty mean of Clark to just let Oliver think that and never explain it to him. But that's Clark. he can be a really good friend when he's not too busy being oblviouse to someone elses hurt feelings. And that's what I saw there Ollie was hurt but Clark was to busy trying to keep the cover to even notice. Which is really sad.

"Tell him, Cupcake" -- The look on Ollie's face was priceless and when Clark "confirmed" the fact that they're getting "married" -- It gets better!!

"We've been friends for so long, but we just had this one magical night and we couldn't deny our feelings any longer" -- seriously.. I've read this some where before.

Judging by Ollie's reaction -- I think he moved on. Apparently -- Season 8 has moved on from certain unwanted feelings. I think... PS3 -- I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

I don't think that Oliver went to Tess because he was hurt by Lois in that scene. If you think about it, Oliver was going to go and see Tess before he even walked into the store. He had gone into the store for a purpose, which was to buy that diamond necklace that he gave to Tess in the later scene. So, IMO, going to see Tess had nothing to do with Lois and Clark.

that would be hilarious! i hope ollie brings it up. it slipped my mind for a minute that ollie doesn't know they were just going undercover. but then again that talk between lois and ollie might clue ollie into some issues between L&C even if he's a bit off. lois DID say "...to make matters worse it all came crashing down in tonight's tribute to romantic bliss.." or something like that. so if ollie thinks about it, he might sense that if there ever was an engagement, things aren't looking so good.

it would be fun though if he were to bring it up, just to make the two squirm and maybe push along the big convo of where they stand with each other.

good catch, by the way :)

That was definitely one of the most hilarious scenes in the episode. The awkwardness made me crack up so much, I loved it!
