View Full Version : To Kiss or Not to Kiss

Well for those of you that have heard about it already, this episode was supposed to feature Clark and Lois sharing "kiss" as to keep up their facade as a "couple".

Now after watching this episode, do you wish that they would have still kept in the kiss? Or do you think it's ultimately better that they cut it out of the script so that they can save Clark's kiss with Lois for a more better and a more "sincere" time?

aww i think itd be interesting if they did kiss
see if lois remembered "clarks" kiss if it was green arrow's wat her reaction would be
and the whole guilt rushing up to her rememering what she said to him in front of clark
thatd be hilarious

clois should only kiss when they both have realised their feelings for one another. making it more meaningful.

Just to make beleive that they are a real couple would be fun(foreshadowing). But,they can't keep doing it.It would feel too rush that early in the season.I prefer when they are teasing and nickpicking each other.I'm effraid if they reveal their true feelings that those fun & ackward moments would be over.

I'm not a shipper. I hate shippers. I think it would have been okay if they had kissed. It would have been a lot like the time back around Season 3 when Clark and Chloe were snooping around SV medical center and Chloe backed Clark up against a file cabinet when someone walked in on them. She did it to cover up why they were really there, retorting "A good reporter always thinks on her feet," but she clearly enjoyed it because of her feelings for Clark. I would have enjoyed another moment like that.

I haven't watched it yet, so I won't vote until I watch it, but like lovinredkclark said, I'd want them to wait a little bit longer.. It's too early for a kiss. They need to realize their feelings for one another first.

No, i don't think they should've kissed..They wouldn't have been able to stop and let's just say that morning after scene would not have been Tess/Ollie... if you get my drift ;)

no, no need for them to kiss just yet.

No, this episode wasn't the right one for the kiss to come in. However, I have a feeling it will be coming soon.

I love Clois but it was too early for a kiss. I like how things are building up so when they finally do kiss, it will be "tear my clothes off and take me on the floor" HOT!

It's way too early for a kiss...I think if they were going to add one, it would have been at the jewlers infront of Ollie. Which is why they didnt.....they are holding out for the real deal. ;)

it would have been really sweet had they kissed when clark was letting her go after he broke out of the chair. maybe thats just my opinion. I really liked the ep tho

Having seen the episode, I don't really mind that they didn't kiss. I wasn't dying to see it happen in the first place. The episode was great without it.

no...all good things comes to those who wait...i was happy there wasn't a kiss...i mean they're realizing that they maybe have feeling for each other...that's arkward enough...having them kiss would have ruined that process....

- i know . = )
because if you dont care about someone ,
and it's just a kiss ..
then when you actually kiss them because you have feelings for them ;
.. does it mean as much ?

I think that was a better choice, not to have a kiss. A kiss needs to have a foundation to build on. years of sexual tension leading up to the moment where both reliase they are meant for each other ie (in nod of all x-philes, myself included, and don't ask) Mulder and Scully in season 8, makes your heart melt, but I could've had the baby come afterward, not before.:lol:

No. It's too early. No need to rush it. (Hey. That line sounded a little more erotic than I wanted it to). This episode just wasn't the magic moment for THAT kiss anyways. CK just found out. It - meaning the idea that Lois actually has feelings for him, needs to marinate, soak, and cook a little bit.... Come on, you know it takes CK a minute before a light bulb goes off in his head - especially when it comes to ladies who express an interest. I'm sure once IT (the magical Kiss) happens (later on), it will be well worth the wait.

No even though it would have been hot, it would have been too fast and destroyed the sexual tension between them, I loved the way they did it

10-16-2008, 09:34 PM
I enjoyed what we were given here; I'd prefer the kiss to happen when their romance has moved a little further. A real kiss next.

10-16-2008, 09:39 PM
I would love to see L & C kiss, but I would rather it happen several episodes down the line so that the sexual tension has more of a build up. However, if it happened during Lana's return, I would probably squee myself to death.<G>

Not an all out passionate kiss, but maybe a quick peck on the lips done in a "playful" way to fool Ollie and the jeweler.
The heavy duty make out should come much later.

Karafan1

I'm guessing they eventually will kiss somethime this season but it will mean something and not be "for show" like it would have been in "Committed"...

10-16-2008, 10:53 PM
I'm really glad the kiss was cut..This eppy was perfect without it..And I think if they had kissed it would have taken something away from the eppy as a whole..I dunno that just my opinion..

MeLois
10-16-2008, 11:25 PM
Originally I would have said 'yes', but after seeing it I think that without the kiss it was even better because everything was a bit more real. Had there been a kiss, I think, it would have disrupted the real feeling that Lois admitted and the later awkwardness that Lois had tried to avoid until Clark basically pulled her into the elevator.

So, no, I think it was fine without it. Let's keep the kiss and wait for a genuine moment between the two of them.

I enjoy that everything wasn't sealed with a kiss. Holding off on the liplocking builds anticipation- and come on, a first kiss for a 'cover story' would be cheap. A kiss after Lois' stint in the chair would seem like a pity kiss or a desperate kiss. Holding off until their feelings process is better for everyone.

Look at the bright side- at least it was Ollie who walked into the store and not Lana.

I don't know if they should kiss or not. Perhaps the kiss scene that was cut out was while they were pretending to be engaged. A kiss for real between the two of them is just too early. They have just begin exploring the possibility. Lois has for some time now looking at Clark through a whole different perspective and it think Clark JUST started to do the same.

I can picture it in my mind:Lois and Clark slow dancing at Chloe & Jim's reception, their lips parted by only inches.Their physical proximity and the slow swaying to the music :pis...intoxicating.Unable to hold back their secret emotions any longer their lips start to meet.......then Lana makes a grand entrance into the ballroom.:(
She has seen their almost kiss but manages to ruin things just in the nick of time.An embarrased Clark goes off to battle a jealous Doomsday(he sneaked in as Lana's escort),Lois either gets knocked out or goes to take a cold shower.

I would rather it came at another time. This episode was great without it. They need to let those feelings start to build and then I would love if they were either arguing and then he lays one on her, or if he/she falls and they catch one another and then they kiss. Love their awkward tension.

The kiss wasn't required at all.

In fact, I enjoyed this episode 100% and I didn't even remember or care about this whole kiss business. We got something better than a kiss, Lois's clear love for her future husband.

haha in lois's own words.
"it was a wild night and one things lead to another."
referring to how they were engaged and in the wedding ring shop
i have this nagging feeling if they had kissed then it WOULD have been a wild kiss

The way it was it just left us desperate for a Clois kiss!
