Definitely, but they have to keep throwing them reasons not to be together so they can keep the tension alive.

Well, Majority rules, she luvs him, she wants to have his babies.

I'm still not certain. The writers really got off to a bad start with these two. We the audience were supposed to believe she loved Chuck in season one but there were never any real justifications for this "love".

What was that episode with Lou? Sarah was jealous.

They are making it more and more obvious that she loves him. They made it hard to tell in the first season, but they are really trying to show it in the second season.

You are so right Vergon6, did you see Sarah's reaction when that guy dropped him then he was catched by Casey. Then she faced that guy, her face looked like she was going to tear his head off.

Yeah, in season 1 it wasn't so obvious but now I'm sure she does. In that scene in the episode with Bryce (don't remember the name), at the end of the episode, I think she was going to tell him she loved him but what he said stopped her from doing so.

Absolutely, it is a very cliche'd but still effective method of storytelling, and it happens every single time a prospective couple both have something to say to each other, the one that goes first screws it up for the other one. And usually they are lying.

it's very obvious now that she loves him . . . hopefully at some point she'll actually tell him how she feels . . . with this whole Jill scandal coming to an end soon, there will be ample opportunities to work it in.

Yea, she definately loves him, screaming when chuck was dropped in season 2 opener, the way she looks at him, that hurtfulness she feels when chuck is with nother girl, etc.
She obviously knows he loves her too, hes openly admitted that he wants to have this whole thing over with so they can have a real relationship.

In the 2008 Comic-con cast interviews, the producer said that they were going to "own" the Chuck/Sarah relationship at the beginning of season 2. I think they definitely did that in the 1st episode when Sarah said "Anything you want, you could have."
jkashuba07

wait, I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "own". like they will get together, but on our time? Is that what you ment?

I was wondering the same thing . . .
If by own, you mean it'll be a central theme to the show, then I think anyone would have guessed that. They're doing a fantastic job with the relationship so far this season. And from the spoilers that I've seen(not sure if they're right or not) it will only get better

Yea the only thing I can think of is that the writers are saying yes, they will eventually get together, but on our watch, not the fans, or something like that. Because yes, everyone knows that the relationship is one of the key parts in the show. So for them to say that meaning, they will just be close sounds silly. I assume they ment that they will get together eventually. If thats what they said!

Oh yeah, the Charah this season will be high than the last. In episode 14, Chuck gets "The Dark Intersect" he apparently can take it and collapses apparently dead but he's not. I bet the grief in Sarah will be heartwrenching.

If I remember right it was Josh Schwartz that said this. And the word "own" was his word, not mine. My interpretation was that they were going to make apparent what Chuck and Sarah's feelings were for one another. Not necessarily bring them together as a couple.
Another example of them "own"ing the relationship would be from Chuck vs the Seduction when Roan tells Chuck that Good Spy's never fall in love and then Chuck responds that he must not be a very good spy then. Those sort of comments from both Sarah and Chuck "own" the fact that they have strong feelings for one another.

The Charah relationship is affectionate. She cares about him and he cares about her. Chuck gave her that bracelet and she truly fell for Chuck in that episode and in the premiere, her scream of anguish when that guy dropped Chuck was amazing and heartbreaking.

wouldn't she know to put a towel on, if they are living together? Thse two would love nothing more to be living together and actually be together, but this silly "your my assest we can't" thing is holding them back! They'll get past that one day trust me, and it won't be the series finale. im guessing their will be at least 2 seasons of them being together!

I'm going back on my thing. Sarah is going to fall for an studly M1-6 agent in February, if she sleeps with him while she has his mom's bracelet, I am going to write Sarah bashing fics about her and i am Hoping for Dark Chuck for a while

haha yea the qoute was "That a MI-6 agent will sweep Sarah off her feet" It doesn't necessarly mean that they are going to get together. If they do its only going to be for three episodes. But honestly i really think they need to stop doing this whole Sarah Chuck are getting ohh sooo close, then boom another person gets in the picture. Its getting old.

exactly . . . if they keep doing that they can't keep writing Chuck as a person who just pines hopelessly over her . . . people will stop liking his character . . . and the rest of the people in Chuck's life will start to really question the relationship

I dunno . . . these love triangles will definitely get old . . . they'll need to find new angles for this show, or it won't make it past 2 seasons, 3 at most. Give them a season or two in an actual relationship and explore those angles, etc. or get more creative with the tension. These triangles will only drive fans away.
Another thing is that Sarah just killed a guy to protect Chuck . . . why would she accept the bracelet, kill that guy . . . and then all of a sudden fall for a new guy, the storyline isn't even that believable . . . hopefully her getting swept off her feet is just some cover thing, mission, etc. who knows

Thats my guess, looks like it may be real to casey and Chuck, but all it really is is cover. That statement could just be one of those teasers. Also, maybe they aren't even talking about love.. Again they said swept off her feet, but in the entertainment business, you say sumthin that seems like sumthin else. For instance, maybe they are talking about a fight scene, where this agent actually is better than Sarah is and ironically she gets swept from her feet. Who knows.
Lets just see what happens. Because you were right, what happened just this last episode and what we think is going to happen in like 3 wpisodes down the road makes no sense at all, unless its cover that not even casey and chuck can know about, or its a figure of speech to get you thinking something that it isn't. Such as a fight where Sarah gets outmatched and is literally swept of her feet!

You need to let this one go. No, I don't remember Lois killing for Clark. I've never killed anyone for my husband either, but it doesn't mean I don't love him.
All the other poster is saying is that both Chuck and Smallville are exploring yet unexpressed feelings of their characters.
I think Sarah and Lois can be loosely compared. Similar personalities and all that. Both Sarah and Lois have been shown in the past few episodes as having feelings for the respective men in their lives. And neither Sarah or Lois has owned up to these feelings yet.
They both came out of denial in this season, they both had "almost" kisses in this season and at this point they are both in limbo.

Sarah and Lois do have almost the same personalities except Sarah's dad wasn't an army guy he was a con man. Lois was born into that life, Sarah was not, She didn't set out to become a spy. But Yeah, they love the respective men in their lives.

Sarah knows who Chuck is? Does she know everything about him?
Lois killing Doomsday!!!!:lol::rotfl:

I'm pretty sure she knows pretty much everything. It isn't like Chuck has this super secret he has to keep from the world, that she doesn't know about. And the CIA pretty much knows him inside and out now that hes top secret.
And what I was reffering to is that Sarah knows that Chuck is the intersect. Lois does not know that Clark is superman!

Really, what his parents did for a living, his birthdate, his blood type, his favorite cereal and that Scott Bakula is Bartowski Sr?
Well no, on Smallville she doesn't know that Clark is well, literally out of this world. :)

wow Human, you really take things soo literally. Its very annoying. You know I was talking about who he is in his secret life, yet you have to make a big argument, that she doesn't know everything. Besides the fact, that I'm sure the CIA could find out all the things you mentioned. Doesn't mean they did. But I wasn't talking about that anywaz, and you know that. Stop blowing unnecessary points that people make!

You guys make me blush! :o:lol:
But I'm just saying, she knows him but he doesn't know her. Does he know who her mother was, where she was born or what her real name is?
Alright, I'm tired of this, I'd like to think that speech is free in this country but some people criticize others!:(

I think not. Even Jenny Burton isn't her real name, Graham said something about her birth certificate.
Alright, I just like to speak my mind. :D

Jenny was the right name, yes he namd several names that she goes by, including Jenny Burton, but Jenny was her real, unless they are lieing about her dads name being Burton!

This a plot hole in the whole "Sarah Walker" name in Chuck. In Chuck vs the Cougars when Director Graham comes to Jenny in the forest and asks her to come work for the CIA he asks her how she likes the name Sarah Walker. But that is the name she is using now, 10 years latter. When she was with Bryce she went by Mrs Anderson (or was it Johnson?) anyway, it would make sense that she would get a new name and cover with every new assignment, so it doesn't make sense that she became Sarah Walker as soon as she joined the CIA and is still Sarah Walker on her current assigment with Chuck.
Also, Jenny Burton is not her real name either. It was just the name she was using in San Diego. In that same episode Director Graham also named two other names that she went by Katie O'Connell in Wisconsin and Rebbecca Franco in Cleavland and then he goes on to say "Funny thing is when I looked at your birth certificate...." and then Jenny cuts him off by saying "I get your point!" So I assume that we do not yet know Sarah Walkers true name.
So knowing all this, and that Sarah's dad served time in Jail after living in San Diego (I assume in jail he went by his real name), why 10 years later does Sarah introduce him as Jack "Burton"? If her father was a con-man, and he knew that his daughter was going by an alias, wouldn't it be logical that he call himself Jack "Walker" to help protect his daughters cover?
I just have to assume that Sarah pulled the name Burton out of the air when she was forced to introduce her father to Chuck, and her dad, being the slick guy that he is just went along with it. She probably did this to further solidify Chuck's belief that Jenny Burton is in fact her true name. But how she was able to do this without her dad wondering why defies explanation because Sarah's dad didn't know anything about her being in the CIA and therefor wouldn't understand Sarah and Chuck's complicated relationship. And why when Chuck flashed on Sarah's dad he didn't see his real name on the arrest documents that he saw is a plot-hole.
Blah blah blah.

Ok Sarah's Dad has no idea that she works for the CIA, so when he was called a Burton, that was a coincidence? Grahm mentioned he goes by Jenny somewhere, dont remember where, but that could have been her real name, the others just coulda been fake!
Who knows, maybe itll be Mrs. Bartowski one day! hehe I'd love that, see her leave the CIA last season Marying Chuck!
----- Added 1 Minutes later -----
also she was known as Jenny Burton in School, while her dad was still with her, school never called home about Jenny? hmmm.. seems fishy to me! Unless her Dad gave her a fake name as well. I don't think so though! And again since her Dad has no idea what she does, I'm pretty sure trhats her real name!

Sarah Walker isn't her real name nor is Jenny Burton. Who knows, Sarah might say her real name to Chuck off-screen and later he's like wow!
Oh, as for Sarah marrying Chuck in the last season, its possible or its possible that they both ride off into the sunset! :D

I'm going to play devils advocate on this one.
Did she cry because she was romantically in love with him? Or was she upset because she had failed at her job protecting her Asset combined with the fact that she and Chuck were good friends. I don't know about you but if one of my friends was blown up I would cry - I wouldn't have to be in love with them.
Also, I think you could make a strong argument that Sarah is more in love with the "idea" of Chuck then the actual Chuck. You could say that she was more in love with the normal life that Chuck represented and not the individual.

Maybe she is in love with the idea of Chuck not the person but who knows.
I liked how she screamed when Chuck fell in the first episode of the season.
Then last episode when he blew up the Nerd Herder and she thought he died. :)

These were great moments, well acted and very moving. (I could have done without Sarah's bloody nose in the latter one).
And for the record, I do think that Sarah loves Chuck - the best way that she can love him. However, how things stand right now in the show, if they were to get together it would never work out. Not to say it's a lost cause, just that some major things would have to change for them to overcome their differences.

She has issues and can't commit because she's never stayed in one place at a time when she was a child due to her father's shady occupation.
Poor Chuck and Sarah, they can never get a break. Especially Chuck, I root for you pal!

I do think Sarah loves Chuck. But is held back from following through with a romantic relationship with Chuck because it would conflict with her job to protect him. I think they would only ever get together in the last couple of episodes of the show.:(

Probably not you see if the writers keep them apart with those stupid triangles that Josh keeps putting there then the show will end.
Its just stupid if this show lasts for 3 more years and there still pining for each other with the triangles then its over before Season 4.
