i loved this episode from point a to z. this was great. lois and clark together for a full episode finally!!! felt like there was actual closure to the chloe clark thing... sorry please no one kill me but last night should have shown everyone that yes chloe doesn't love clark anymore and she loves jimmy so no more chlark. i believed every word of chloe .. but of course somehow they show it that brainiac was the one who controlled her emotions for the lie detector but .. i hope im proven wrong on that.
now to lois and clark wow!!!! what a performance by erica. i loved her lines in there scenes. Wow I have to admit the epi was intense!!! Now, I'm not a Clois fan (in SV) but I don't why I actually found myself sqeeing at the TV when she said yes and Clark's face was priceless. Looks like I have a Clois fan somewhere underneath ( really underneath). And the chimmy wasn't THAT bad, I think the chemistry between AM and AA is improving a bit, but since I'm not a fan of Chimmy I can't really say that I like ANY of their scenes together. But I WILL admit that AA got a bit cuter this season. I think it's the haircut!

I loved the comedy too in this eppy! I was laughing my ass off in all of the CLois scenes! I LOVED THE PUMPKIN AND MUFFIN LINES! And I have to say that, I don't know about you guys, but TW is getting hotter by every episode!! Did you see what he had on in the elevator at the end scene!! OMG!! If I was LOIS LANE I would have said yes and put a stop to the elevator!!! LOL

What do you mean they have no chemistry? I love them together, I've been wanting Clois ever since Erica Durance came on the show in season 4 and I'm finally getting it. They're amazing. This is definitly one of my favorite episodes ad it's definitly one of the best Clois episodes. This is probably the best episode so far this season. I loved the two superman references. Clark and Lois were hilarious together too when they were acting as an engaged couple. I didn't stop laughing. And Lois' message on the answering machine, rofl. Loved the build up to and when Lois finally said yes that she loved Clark. Both Tom and Erica played that so well. They were great in this episode. I'm glad that they actually confronted the fact that Lois admitted that she loved Clark in the end too. I would have been annoyed if they had ignored it. This episode was so great. I really enjoyed it.

And I may be the only one to say this, but I like Chimmy. I'm glad there's finally closure on the whole Clark issue, hopefully the writers don't pull a 180 and make it that Brianiac outpowered the technology of the lie detector or something stupid like that. Just let them be happy. I hate when they make it seem like Chloe is still hung up on Clark. It's about time she was happy and in love. I was kind of surprised that there was a little bit of Jimmy's history in there, although I was kind of thinking something would come up with his parents when he and Chloe spoke about them in the beginning of the episode.

And oh, Oliver was burned by Tess, Lois and Clark in this episode. Man the poor guy just got slapped in the face a bunch of times. I was kind of expecting some Tess and Oliver this season, but not so soon, I thought there would be more of a build up to it, but I kind of like Oliver and Tess. They're an interesting pair. It also helps develop some more backstories for those two characters which I love.

Anyway, overall, this is an amazing episode. One of my all time favorites. After this episode I'm really disappointed that Lois won't be in next weeks episode, I want to see more Clois, this episode has me craving Clois.

Okay, now that I have that out of me, I can calm down a bit. Can't wait for next weeks episode, it looks really good, I'm excited to see what Smallville does with Doomsday. The only thing I'm not going to like next week is the fact that there will be no Clois, but the storyline will hopefully make up for that.

This was the best episode so far this season, I think and it all boils down to the priceless moment when Clark braced himself for getting zapped again when Lois admitted that she loved him. Wow! Is it just me, or is Erica Durance getting more beautiful every season?

I still recommend this show to everyone at work as probably the best scripted and directed program on the tube, even though under new management this year.

High drama and great acting combined. I have no idea why a large number of TVbots watch those stupid sitcoms/reality shows when they could be enjoying Smallville. Oh, well. It's their loss.

BTW, this is the ONLY series that I never miss an episode of and also have the boxed-set of every season. I even bought the boxed-set of Kristin Kruek's other series Edgemont directly from the Canadian studio, though it was over $100.

This ep absolutely sucked. Relying on ED and TW who have zero chemistry has been a mistake from the beginning. Those two are just boring together and the ep itself was as badly written as any SV ep has ever been. It was a awful ripoff of a Lois and Clark ep and it fell flat. It was pathetic.

Right, and this is why ratings have gone up this season? because TW and ED's chemistry "sucks?" and the "writing is bad"
