Overall, Heroes averaged 8.63 million viewers (#3) and a 4.2/10 among adults 18-49 (#2) -- which dipped considerably from one year earlier (Viewers: 11.41 million; A18-49: 5.2/12 on Oct. 15, 2007). Also on NBC was fading Chuck, with a fourth-place finish in both total viewers (6.01 million) and adults 18-49 (2.3/ 6) from 8-9 p.m.

To be honest, Heroes is a good show but some people are really down in the dumps because of the econ so people are watching 'light' shows. Heroes isn't the only one affected by this.....I'm sure it will pick up.

Oh my that is terrible! The best season so far getting poor ratings, especially considering the awful S2 that got loads of viewers!
I hope its not cancelled anytime soon, best show on TV

Well I've also been feeling down because of Heroes' and Smallville's ratings, but after seeing the viewers increase because of DVR viewership I think there both doing just fine.

I don't think it's sad for you but for the masses - they're missing out on a great show. Which is sad - because they don't know what they're missing. Maybe they should have gone a different way with their marketing for Heroes this time.....

Plus people keep thinking that old broad on Dancing is gonna flip out and want to see it when/if it does happen. I must admit that I do watch that show from time to time but this season holds no interest for me - it feels like the same old same old.
