I haven't really figured out the method to his madness...but from his past 3 reviews, I gather that he prefers the eppies that are low on the melodrama and high on the fast paced action factor (like Plastique, which I also liked a lot). Other than that, I read his reviews for pure entertainment. :lol:

My feelings about an episode are usually a mix of Neal's and Doug's reviews

Neal also believes Charles Xavier is behind the thievery of the crystal. :p

*Waits for someone to completely miss the sarcasm and inform him again that Xavier is Marvel, not DC*

On another note, it's too bad Charles Xavier is from Marvel, because it would make sense. Isn't Tess putting together a kind of...team...of..you know, mutants? :lol:

Once again, I totally agree with Douglas' review but can see where Neil is coming from. I have enjoyed all the episodes so far. I think we all have our little issues with Smallville. For me, it was Clana and Clark being too passive. So far, in season 8, my issues have been addressed in a very satisfying way.

I totally loved this episode, so I don't agree with their reviews. I'd give Instinct a 10/10. It was my favorite episode in several years if not the best one so far.
