I think he has downloaded a bit of himself into Chloe and let it spread like a virus. Interesting idea to the plot though.

Not sure what happened. But whatever it was, he didn't do something on purpose so to speak. Remember Brainiac's reaction, "What the hell are you?!?" with a pale, frightened look on his face. Brainiac probably tried to do his normal thing, but it backfired in some way. If he would have purposely planted his seed and been successful, I doubt he would have reacted the way he did.

i don't really see how chloe could've been infected by brainiac. because, yeah, in arctic, when brainiac tries to do his mind warp thing like he did to lana, he was like "what the hell are you". so did something happen after that, or maybe during the four week span between arctic and odyssey?

It was something during that connection, because after that Brainiac was SO drained of power he immediately went to that power plant where Clark "killed" him. So, whatever Chloe's powers did to Brainiac, some of him got left inside her. Then, after she was abducted, they used her abilities and started honing them in that place in Montana. Now she just does it at will.

I would love to see BrainIAC return. Maybe during the doomsday crisis, so Clark would have a much bigger challenge. This could give Chloe a great chance to become a solid heroin by using her brainiac-induced powers to defeat BrainIAC herself, or at least play a major role in defeating him..

Same goes for a surprise return of Lex. I hope they don't put, "Special Guest Star, Michael Rosenbaum" in the credits if it is supposed to be a surprise cliffhanger.

Is there a way around this? I'm not sure if it's possible that certain names can be excluded from the credits. Unless it's some kind of mistake, you know, intentionally made :)

^^^I don't think there is. I think it will just be revealed to us in the spoilers ahead of time and then the names will be in the credits. How cool would it be to be watching and out of the blue comes Brainiac or Lex and you had no idea it was coming!

If for no other reason, the CW will make sure you know if/when Rosenbaum or Marsters come back. They always put it in all of their (limited) advertising so that the 5 people on the planet who happen to run across it will know that these characters will be on and that they need to watch. They did it with Black Canary and Maxima for instance.

of course clark being typical clark will ALWAYS feel guilty that it is his fault chloe is infected by braniac; wonder how he will handle it
