^ I was surprised to see Jimmy with a guitar....It was the scene at the Talon, when Jimmy entered to the apartment, he had a guitar in his back. I guess he likes to spend time with his guitar too. Maybe composing some new song for Chloe, or their wedding? Who knows.......

How about the scene when Lois gets out of her flip over car and Maxima comes along and Lois puts up her dukes and says
"Bring it *****!"
Then Clark superspeeds Maxima away and she is left with a wtf moment! lmao

If Jimmy is an ABBA fan, I wonder if they'll have 'I Do, I Do, I Do' played at some time during Bride? That was one of those things I liked in Muriel's Wedding, how she walked down the aisle to that song.

This version of Jimmy is probably the single most wussie version ever imagined on screen and far too low in quality to ever be a partner with Chloe.
He does cry and whimper well, though.

At least you can console yourself knowing that Chloe and Jimmy will never last.

Yeah, I saw that guitar too. I was thinking the Infuriator also plays guitar. I think he will earn his nickname when he starts playing it with Lois around.

I can sooooo see 'The Winner Takes It All' being played when Chloe and Jimmy hit their inevitable rough patch because of her growing attraction to Vader's secret apprentice -- uh, I mean Davis.
I've always figured Clark would be -- must be -- a closet Air Supply fan, with his love of all things melodramatic. That's how Clark and Jimmy will bond: at some syrupy love ballad karaoke get-together.

ABBA is one of the greatest bands of all time. Record sells through the roof. Too bad America really didn't catch on.
I love ABBA. Been listening to them since I was a child. Luckily, my parents didn't care what was popular in American music. They listened to everything, and exposed me to ABB, country, soul, etc.

 Jimmy is so sweet to Chloe, I can't understand why so many of you are so Mean and Hateful toward him. Yes, he's often the 'comic relief', and his jealousy of Clark is annoying, but understandable, :p he's still so thoughtful when it comes to Chloe. :\ However, it's official, Jimmy has great taste in music. :D
My best friend & I thoroughly enjoyed "Mama Mia" when we went to see it, too. ;)

LOL! Yes... Lois said it was the snoring but Lois probably caught a glimpse of Jimmy's musical taste. The last straw.
I laughed when Maxima threw Lois' car.
I laughed when Lois poked Clark and he made that frightened face. LOL!
I laughed when Lois snatched the file and handed Clark her coffee.
I laughed when I saw screen captures of Lois' angry rant at Clark and poking. LOL!

ABBA sucks!!!!!!!!!!!
Aerosmith rocks, Queen rocks, Sex Pistols rocks, but ABBA sucks.
I don't get why you all like ABBA?

the fact that Jimmy loves ABBA is unbelevably disturbing

Why is the fact that he likes ABBA "unbelevably disturbing"?

It wasnt. I think certain people (Jimmy bashers) are just taking this oppertunity to bash him some more. It was funny, and I laughed out loud at that part! Jimmy's a geek. And geeks are cute imo! So that just added to his 'cute-ness'

Well, I always pictured Jimmy as a soft, cheery (or cheesy) pop music kind-of-guy, but ABBA!!! When I spotted that CD in the box I went like "Is that? ... NO! Could it?" and when Chloe confirmed it was indeed ABBA I was rolling on my couch laughing so hard.

If people knew how ot actually listen to the music (instruments) and not the lyrics only; people would realize that the music of ABBA isn't cheesy.
Granted, the lyrics can leave one a bit lactose intolerant. However, the musical composition... is outstanding. Especially the piano.

LOL!
I just don't know much about ABBA. Some people act like they are music gods, others snicker. I recognize a lot of their songs when I hear them. I know they are Swedish and ABBA are the letters of the first names of each of the band members. The end.
So I enjoyed the scene but the joke was lost on me... except that ABBA and Whitesnake are on two ends of the musical spectrum. LOL!

Ugh I thought he looked like the appentice - did he play the apprentice in star wars?

Yeah, Sam Witwer (Davis) is the voice actor for the main role in the video game Force Unleashed, where Darth Vader secretly trains an apprentice.
Jimmy: Step back, Davis. Chloe's my girl.
Davis:  I'm not after your girlfriend. I bring Lord Vader's enemies to justice. *ignites lightsaber* Prepare to meet your destiny, Jedi!
Jimmy: Crap. Sorry, no lightsaber here. My bad. I have ABBA's Greatest Hits though, wanna listen?
Davis:

who is abba?????
They were a band in the 70's I believe...The musical "Mama Mia" is based off of their songs...If you know the song 'Dancing Queen' they sang that originally..Probably their most well known hit...
I like ABBA...There's nothing wrong with liking them...And if Jimmy's man enough to buy their albums then good for him:p
Nothing wrong at all with a bit of Abba - if you like pop music then they did it very well. At the end of the day, there's nothing wrong with any music - it's all subjective. Everything is good to someone and it's very childish to rubbish something just because it doesn't suit your tastes.
It makes you far more of a rounded individual to admit you like something that you sterotypically shouldn't, and in the context of what we're discussing is good to see that the writers have fleshed Jimmy out - they could quite easily have not put any emphasis onto what's on his CDs, but instead they gave us something to underline his innocent character. I'd have been more "disgusted" if it had been something like Slayer, Slipknot etc. - would have been far too much out of character.

Abba may have been more popular than White Snake but both are merely peripheral to rock-n-roll and I have already forgotten "Fernando." Probably little Jimmy's favorite song, it brings tears to his eyes, just like about everything else in his life.

actually, whitesnake is a bigger band than abba now. since abba is not active for like 25 years. when abba was around david coverdale (singer/front man) of whitesnake was in Deep Purple.
dunno why i wrote this. maybe i am a die hard whitesnake fan :D
