It goes without saying that Tess cant be on screen with another girl without there being sexual tension, but damn...they stopped just short of having her jaw drop when she first saw Maxima. She was speechless and had to shake herself back from whatever she was thinking. No so subtle Smallville-not subtle at all.

I did see some chemistry going on between Tess and Lois in Odyssey and Plastique, but I didn't see any with Maxima really, but maybe I wasn't looking hard enough.

Yeah about that,Tess doesn't strike me as the type of woman who would wear such short dress.What was Ollie thinking?Plus i think it wouldn't fit since Tess is kind of curvy.By the way,why would Ollie want to hung out with her?They weren't on the best of terms at the end of Toxic.

I did get that vibe from her that she was into her more then afraid of her.

I think she is bi because she also has a thing for Clark.

They also slightly mentioned a possible Oliver and Tess thing going on too.

I haven't gotten that vibe from her before until he spoke to Maxima.

Both couples are so HOT. But I do believe I like Tess/Lois more?

In Odyssey,I felt something there,when she touched Lois's french maid alfit.Yeah,defenetly.But,with Maxima not so much.I noticed that Tess likes to flirt mostly to get what she wants.She became interested in Maxima when she talked about the crystal,she wanted to know more about it.

It could've been a fault on the actress's part, she probably didn't mean to act bisexual or maybe she did because it was part of the script.

I also notice that she tries to seduce other characters, like Clark, in order to get information out of them.

I think Cassidy is an excellent actress, and I definitely think that Tess is being scripted to be either lesbian or bi. Remember she also still wears the bracelet she made for her murdered best friend, who very likely was more than that to her.....possibly her lover. She also told her captor that he was one of the men in her life that taught her how to fight back, so it sounds like she hasn't had very good relationships with men in general....

I think Tess liked it when Chloe threatened her. Not necessarily in a sexual way. But for whatever reason, I think she liked the resistance. Little does she know the domineering presence that was inside the crystal she had. I wonder how she'd like the ruthless Jor-El treatment.

yes IMO she's bisexual.

The looks she gave maxima and Lois are not the looks that a straight female gives to other women. Trust me im a straight woman and i dont look at other women like that. The vibe wasnt there wwhen she was talking to Maxima..it was there when she first saw her.

When she first saw Maxima she gave the typical look people give when they find someone attractive. Then she sort of snapped awake. If you saw a man giving Maxima that look, you would automatically think he's attracted to her, its no different for Tess. Its just that she's a woman and so people tend not to take it into consideration.

when she spoke to Lois..wel that was kinda more obvious lol

i admit there was tension but then again tess is a very powerful woman who has ulterior motives in getting what she wants; so i dont think its more that shes into maxima, i think she wants something from maxima like what she knows about the crystal; i mean come on if any woman came into your mansion dressed in a black bikini screaming about the traveler (was it i dont remember); and her talking about hte crystal would of COURSE make tess even more interested into what maxima was talking about


IMO there was no indication that she was into her when they were talking (actually just re-watched it, she cant stop looking her up and down) mainly the clue was how Tess looked at Maxima when she first saw her. Her eyes opened wide, her mouth dropped, her eyebrows raised, loked her up and down, she blinked rapidly, she gulped and she had to shake herself awake, all this is an expression humans give when they find someone attractive.... Then add that with the way she interacts with Lois, IDK i kinda thought she may be into women as awell as men.

LOL I studied human body language in college and also applied it to my film studies course, So i kinda saw this straight away, It wouldnt surprise me if it was brought up later in the season by Olliver or someone. Or even her.

I admit there was tension, but it wasn't sexual tension. It was like "ok, who the hell is this and what does she want" kind of tension. And I think Tess has a way of sizing people up that's very inviting, like she's inviting you to give her info. You can tell she has a thirst for getting things out of people. And she get's quirkier the more she sees that a person has information that she can work at manipulating out of someone. It's about the hunt for her. And she has to word things very carefully for the hunt to pan out. Maybe that hunt is sexual to some viewers.

As an actress, I like that she kind of slows things down and draws you in.

I definitely didn't see any sexual tension between Tess and Maxima. The look when Maxima first appeared was shock at where the hell this woman had appeared from.

I definitely picked up a sexual vibe between Tess and Lois though when Tess felt Lois' collar when she was dressed as the french maid. It was very reminiscent of Lois turning on the lesbian charm with the lady wrestler from Season 6.

I could totally imagine that as the start of some low budget lesbo porn
