Clark/Tess Interaction

I'm loving how they're doing the interaction between the two, it's basically Clark/Lex but with some twists, one is that she seems adamant that aliens don't exist so it rules out some of her theorys in her discussions, two Clark isn't so afraid to talk back to her like he was with Lex in the beginning, and three she's female.

I'm curious wether the scene in the Comic-Con trailer is still to come though.

I don't think Tess doesn't believe in aliens, I actually think she believed Maxima in that there was a kryptonian on Earth, what I thought was that Tess was certain was that Lex was still on Earth. And I think that is correct.

I really liked their interaction in this episode. It was the right mixture of civility, laced with mistrust and caution. I think Tess is hoping to unsettle Clark, but so far, he seems pretty grounded. The actors have a nice vibe going too, which is always a plus. I'm actually interested to see how this dynamic evolves, and I'm actually hoping for it to get much more adverserial.

The thing that I loved best about SV Lex is that he wasn't all BWA-HA-HA. I like where Clark and Tess are now because it keeps the employment issue from clouding the interaction. If they turn up the adversarial volume, they should be careful not to overdo.

Thats a good point. If they overdo the adverserial vibe, then it calls into question why Clark would continue to work for her. Hmmm, hadn't thought about that. Unless he decides its better to keep you friends close, but your enemies closer ;)

In any case, I look forward to seeing how it develops. They work well together.
