It’s been fairly obvious that the producers of The CW’s updated take on The Flash were fans of the original CBS series that starred John Wesley Shipp… now, KSiteTV has gotten confirmation that another actor from the classic series will be making an appearance on the new show, and like Amanda Pays and Mark Hamill, he will be reprising his role.
Vito D’Ambrosio played police officer Anthony “Tony” Bellows in the original 1990 CBS series, and in the upcoming 17th episode of The Flash, which also features the return of Mark Hamill as James Jesse/The Trickster, D’Ambrosio will be playing Anthony Bellows yet again. Except, this time he’s not a cop who always ends up missing The Flash – he’s now the Mayor of Central City, once again facing Hamill’s James Jesse.
An air date or title for this Flash reunion episode is not yet confirmed, but we will let you know as soon as there is more information!
The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8PM on The CW. Check out our Flash portal, FlashTVNews, for more on the show:
