Variety is reporting that Cottonwood Media and ZDF have renewed tween ballet drama Find Me in Paris for a third season, which will consist of 26 episodes and bring the show’s total episode count to 78.
“The new season will push the boat out even further with exciting storylines, new characters, compelling dance sequences, and new locations that we have no doubt will continue to thrill and entertain viewers,” David Michel, president of Cottonwood Media and managing director of Federation Kids & Family.
From Jill Girling and Lori Mather-Welch (Ride), Find Me in Paris follows early 20th century Russian princess (and aspiring ballerina) Lena Grisky (Jessica Lord) as she inadvertently time travels to modern-day Paris and sets about a chain of events that changes the space-time continuum for good. The series explores Lena’s love triangle with 1905 love Henri and 21st century bad boy ballerino Max, as well as the culture shock she experiences in dealing with this new time, her attempts at evading the Time Collectors and keeping her identity a secret, and its own rules of time travel.
Season three finds Lena, still unsure as to who she is and why her time piece is so valuable, attending a dance workshop in the French Riviera with her friends. The group is dismayed to find out that there’s only one spot in the company they’ll be fighting for.
Previous seasons of the series have been bought by a host of broadcasters including NBC Universal and Hulu (U.S.), France Télévisions (France), Disney (France and Italy), ABC (Australia), VRT (Belgium), RAI (Italy), Quebecor (French-speaking Canada), HBO (Portugal), Hot TV (Israel), and SVOD service Showmax (South Africa), among others.
In addition to Lord, Find Me in Paris stars Eubha Akilade (Eve), Hannah Dodd (Harlots), Rory J. Saper (Considering Love and Other Magic), Castle Rock (Descendants), Hiran Abaysekera (Royal Shakespeare Company: Hamlet), and Christy O’Donnell (Moon Dogs).
Principal photography on Find Me in Paris season three is set to begin July 22nd.
